In the near future, a group of intrepid clubbers embarked on a journey unlike any other. Their destination was not a place on Earth, but an entirely different universe. Their quest was to find a form of techno music that had been rumored to possess mind-altering qualities, transcending the boundaries of sound and consciousness.

Their voyage began at a secret underground laboratory, nestled in a remote desert. A team of visionary scientists and sound engineers had designed a portal, a swirling vortex of swirling, iridescent energy, capable of transporting them to this uncharted realm.

Stepping through the portal, they found themselves in a dimension where the very fabric of reality was altered by sound. The landscapes were surreal, with towering crystalline structures emitting pulsating waves of light in synchrony with the hypnotic techno beats that reverberated through the air.

As they journeyed deeper into this universe, the music grew more profound and transcendent. It was as if the melodies and rhythms were alive, resonating with their souls, and leading them to profound insights about themselves and the universe. They found themselves dancing under skies filled with ethereal colors, surrounded by beings of light who communicated through music and motion.

The further they delved into this mysterious realm, the more the music altered their minds. It was not a hallucinogenic experience but a transformative one. The rhythm and melody merged with their thoughts, expanding their consciousness, and unlocking hidden depths of creativity and understanding.

At the journey's end, the explorers returned to Earth, profoundly changed by the experience. They had discovered a form of techno that indeed altered the mind, not through substances, but through the power of sound and the transcendental journey to another universe. This newfound music became a source of inspiration, shaping their lives and the music scene for generations to come.

About – Vincent Montoya
Vincent Montoya developed a great passion for techno music at a very early age. Growing up by the Baltic Sea, the rough and gentle sides of the sea are reflected in his track selection and mixing. He chooses his tracks carefully. He packs them with emotion, openness, sensitivity and skillful mixing into sets that capture the intimacy of the moment in front of an audience, in a club or at a festival. His mostly very long, rough and raw austerity and at the same time never-ending driving, pulsating, grooving and hypnotic textures reflect his open and creative understanding of techno as a musical style and as a lived culture. With the diversity of his tracks and his boundless understanding of art, he creates a fluid plasticity that diffuses boundaries and creates a new space without merely playing in it. At the same time, his more compressed and shorter sets don’t lack either impulsiveness nor creativity. Nevertheless, he always takes a step back and puts the sound in the foreground, which is gratefully accepted by the audience.
Vincent Montoya has over 20 years of professional DJ and event experience. This know-how is reflected in his excellent reputation and has already been successfully administered at his own events as well as been highly valued at numerous bookings for events, bars, clubs and festivals.

Vincent Montoya entwickelte sehr früh eine große Leidenschaft für Techno. Aufgewachsen an der Ostsee spiegeln sich Rauheit und Sanftmut des Meeres in Trackselection und Mixing wieder. Behutsam wählt er seine Tracks. Verpackt sie mit Emotionen, Offenheit, Sensibilität und einem gekonnten Mixing in Sets, die die Intimität des Moments von Publikum, Club und Festival einfängt. Seine zumeist sehr langen, von rauer wie schroffer Strenge und gleichsam von nie enden wollender treibender, pulsierender, groovender und hypnotischer Textur geprägten Sets spiegeln sein offenes und kreatives Verständnis für Techno als Musikstil sowie als gelebte Kultur wieder. Mit der Mannigfaltigkeit seiner Tracks und dem illimitierten Verständnis von Kunst schafft er eine fluide Plastizität, die Grenzen diffus und einen neuen Raum entstehen lässt, ohne ihn nur zu bespielen. Gleichwohl lassen seine komprimierteren und kurzen Sets nichts an Impulsivität und Kreativität vermissen. Anomalous DJ is the alias of Antony Price & Sam Kingfisher aka SK, co-founders of Anomalous, a creative studio, event space and sound system.

Whilst having primarily focused much of their careers on audio visual production and nightlife documentation, Antony has consistently maintained DJ residencies and guest slots in London since the mid 90’s. His archivist approach to both music and club culture photography providing him an artistic form of narrative self-expression.  

As Anomalous they create bespoke and dynamic gatherings that encourage meaningful interaction and connection through dance, well-being and active listening. Cultivating a model of exchange and support, they use collaboration as a form of resistance to systemic norms, with the Anomalous Sound System challenging conventional spaces of communal gathering to follow in the ethos of free party culture.
