Old School Chevy

Spring is a time of re-awakening, so it only seemed appropriate to release this collaborative track around the turn of seasons. So much emotion, story structure, and allegorical elements went into this track to tell the tale of rebirth after COVID changed our world's forever. This song is about falling back in love with making music. It’s nothing short of mind-blowing to me that I have been able to make music with both of my original peer-mentors in music from the University of Florida. The truth is where I grew up in the USA stunted my progress as a musician deeply and has left me feeling the need to play catch up since I started producing seriously in 2018. True marks of progress come in the form of tracks like this. I can remember a time where I understood NOTHING about a single DAW, let alone being able to complete music in two. @michael-dodson-9 is also a valuable person in my life for more reasons beyond music, this man saved my future. Anywho, I am  so nervous to show this one off to everyone and I hope you enjoy it. It is the first track ever where I sing!

Fervor makes his debut on Gravitas Recordings June 14th with a heavy 4-track EP full of genre-bending styles and a mysterious journey. The ‘Mirrored Existence’ EP leans into an emotional side of Fervor while blending with his gritty bass sound design.  He let go of the genre boundaries and expressed his emotions in a sonic format without conforming to the typical bass music format.  This resulted in a beautiful blend of styles that truly impressed us after we finished this EP, and a perfect melodic and dark contrast throughout the tracks while staying cohesive.  Gravitas always strives to push the boundaries of bass music and looks for releases that tell a story while listening, and still moves the dancefloor during live sets.  This release does just that and it is amazing to hear an artist’s journey digging deep and making something to please themselves instead of conforming to what is popular. With over two decades of experience in FL Studio and 15 years behind the decks, I've played everywhere from clubs, bars, house parties, field raves, poolside events, and weddings.



Music had always been a passion for yung Soular from an early age. Growing up in the East Coast, his influences came from Trip-Hop/Downtempo, Breakbeat, Trance, Acid-Funk, Rock, UK/Grime & Dub and Rap/Hip-Hop. Artist's from the likes of Massive Attack, BT, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Above & Beyond, The Prodigy, Nirvana, Crystal Method, Virus Syndicate, Plastician, Gorillaz, Beastie Boys, Rage Against The Machine and Eminem/Dr. Dre. 

Subby soon realized music gave higher states of consciousness. He moved to Dallas/Fort Worth when he was 18 and became involved in the underground scene using the persona "gWorm". In 2010, he landed a gig at the world-famous Lizard Lounge in Dallas, Texas, a legendary venue that has since recently been lost to a devastating fire. He then went on to run a blog named TrashCanPunch in Dallas with AFK showcasing & supporting local Electro House talent, while shedding light onto the emerging Dubstep scene at that time. In 2013, he left Dallas and paused his career in music. Fast forward to 2024, SubSoular is here, looking to push the boundaries in sound design, while providing unique mixes & live experiences that allow you to step into the flow.

The persona SubSoular is a metaphor for the point at which music fully immerses and reaches your soul. SubSoular represents the moment of alignment where music, much like the sun at the zenith, reaches its peak impact, flooding us with light, warmth, and pure energy. Where time disappears, and pure ecstatic bliss ensues, leaving all your cosmic baggage behind.
