Dj uruguayo (digital/vinilo) de múscia electrónica con afinidad al house, minimal, deep tech, tech house y under.

Mi historia con la música empieza en el año 2000, cuando tenía 15 años y lo único que necesitaba para ser feliz era un plato, un vinilo, y unas ganas inmensas de hacer vibrar a los míos. No había redes, no había postureo, no había métricas ni algoritmos. Había noches, colegas, garajes, luces bajas y el bajo retumbando en el pecho. Así fue mi forma de entrar en la música: por amor puro y sin ataduras.

Estuve pinchando hasta 2004, siempre en fiestas privadas, en momentos únicos, sin más pretensión que compartir lo que sentía cada vez que una aguja tocaba el surco. Nunca lo hice por fama ni por dinero. Lo hacía porque el breakbeat me elegía cada vez que sonaba. Porque ahí, entre bombo y caja, me encontraba a mí mismo.

Pasaron los años. Llegó la vida adulta, el trabajo, la rutina. Guardé los vinilos, pero nunca apagué el fuego.

En 2020, en plena pandemia, con el mundo en pausa, volví a escuchar ese eco dentro. El cuerpo me pedía música. Me planteé volver a mezclar. Pero claro, el vinilo ya no era tan accesible. El coste, el espacio, los equipos... todo era distinto. Probé con controladoras eléctricas. Fácil, rápido, funcional. Pero algo no encajaba. Me faltaba alma. Me faltaba aguja. Me faltaba error. Me faltaba vinilo.

Y así, en 2023, decidí regresar. Pero no a medias. Me compré unos Pioneer DJ, recuperé mi colección antigua y empecé de nuevo como debe hacerse: desde abajo, con humildad, pero con hambre. Volví a patear mercadillos, a buscar joyas, a entrenar el oído y las manos. Volví a sentir el vértigo del beat cuando entra justo en el momento perfecto.

Sé que es más caro. Que es más difícil. Que el camino analógico es más lento.
Pero también sé que es más real. Y yo vengo de ahí. Yo soy eso.
Soy JUANSIRBETDJ.
Y si algo tengo claro, es que el breakbeat se lleva dentro… y se pincha con el alma.

Raúl Britos nació en la ciudad de Ezeiza el 1 de Junio de 1982. A la edad de los 12 años es influenciado en los sonidos electrónicos de la mano de Depeche Mode, lo cual lo lleva a investigar y descubrir sonidos nuevos, como el house y el techno. 

A la edad de los 14 años decide convertirse en Dj, comprando sus primeras bandejas y sus primeros vinilos. Artistas como Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet, Robert Armani, Christian Smith, Marco Bailey, llenaron rápidamente su batea. Al escuchar los remixes de su banda preferida (Depeche Mode), empezó a tomar gusto por el progressive house de la mano de Danny Tenaglia, Timo Maas, Paul Oakenfold, y sellos como Bedrock y Platipus.

Al terminar el secundario, en el año 2000, decide perfeccionar su conocimiento en el sonido, y 3 años mas tarde se convierte en Técnico en Sonido y Grabación . No conforme con esto, siguió y 1 año después se recibió de Licenciado en Audiovisión.

Su diversidad de estilos le permitió pinchar en diferentes discos y eventos de zona sur a lo largo de toda su carrera. Estuvo de residente en diferentes Bares como Lola Mora, Barcelona y en otros ciclos como In dance, Techno Side y Promixlive.

En el año 2008 junto al Vj Lukpark generan el duo “Promixlive”, con sonidos progresivos melódicos.

Por otro lado, también necesitaba poder saciar su necesidad de poner Techno y  junto a Pablo Ibáñez generan el duo “Back 2 the groove”, 

A fines del  2010 la banda Singapur le muestra sus nuevos temas y el decide hacer un remix de uno de ellos, el cual será editado en el año 2011.

Hoy, a la edad de 29 años se encuentra realizando un ciclo de progressive house en la radio www.housebuenosaires.com llamado Promixlive y pinchando junto a Pablo Ibáñez en diferentes discos de Bs. As con B2G.


MCPM aka Juankadj. Empezando muy joven en el mundo de la electrónica,desarrollando sesiones con muchas variantes... en especial el remember, pasando por el house de finales de los 90 hasta el 2008,despues la línea fue hacia el lado mas oscuro del techno y sus variantes.... con toques electro y EBM... Todo ello por un gusto hacia el vinilo y amante... a dic de hoy habiendo pinchado en raves, pequeños clubs de la zona .. hasta en un barco compartiendo cartel con grandes compañeros de la zona... formando parte de un colectivo llamado laDancetereia donde hacíamos que la cultura electrónica fuera por parajes extremeños...como castillos..igleias abandonadas....y en la atualidad dando forma a un proyecto llamado THE OTHERS....
