The Organic Life 038

Cara has been a familiar face on dancefloors in the Melbourne House Music scene for over 15 years, falling in love with Classic House in local haunts such as Q Bar and OneLove at POW early on, then quickly evolving her music taste into a love for Organic House and Progressive/Melodic House and Techno.

Since starting out with her first club gig in May 2021 Cara has risen quickly, now holding a residency at Onesixone (Thursday and Saturday weekly) plus fortnightly/monthly/guest appearances at the Seeing Double, Sky Disco, Warehouse 3000 and Revolver Upstairs, The Emerson and Storyville to name just a few.

Career highlights so far include:

Supporting some amazing artists such as Anthony Pappa, Low Steppa, MANDY, Lo'99, Luuk Van Dijk, MK, Sasha, Monkey Safari and Angelo Ferreri. 

Performed for DiscoBOX at both the Defected 2022 and Glitterbox 2022 Australasia tours.

Performed at Amsterdam Dance Event 2023 for an all Australian showcase.

Awarded Music Victoria's Best DJ 2023.

Vega (AU) is a longtime electronic music enthusiast with a flair for deep, organic, afro, melodic, and progressive house. Based in Melbourne, Australia, he has a sound influenced from labels such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Shanti Radio, The Soundgarden, 3rd Avenue, The Purr and Meanwhile Recordings, and is naturally drawn to track selections that evoke an emotive and atmospheric tone.

After making his live debut in Melbourne as support for the Genix [Anjunabeats] - 199X album tour, he has since appeared as guest mixer on numerous radio and streaming hosts including AATM Club Radio [UK], Radio Deep [UK], Bondi Radio [AUS], Proton [AUS], Saturo Sounds [UK] and Sinergia [Slovenia]. He has played in several of Melbournes' great nightspots including my aeon, Howler, Top Yard, Ferdydurke and Brown Alley, where he made an appearance on the support lineup for Nox Vahn [Anjunadeep]. Vega gained monthly residencies at some of Melbourne's most popular bar offerings including the Ibiza themed 'Arbory Afloat' and the intimate 'Music Room' at HER Bar as a member of @floatingdreamsmusic.

Alain Pauwels is a progressive house dj/producer based near Antwerp, Belgium.
Led by a profound love for electronical music, surrounded by passionate professionals, practitioners and a supportive progressive house family, Alain has been driven to share his passion of mixing sublime tracks and to bring joy across all boundaries.
Inspired by pioneers in the scene such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Marcelo Vasami amongst others and many well-respected labels, Alain started to dedicate himself in creating uplifting progressive house mixing, with an occasional flavor of deep house, organic house and melodic techno.
As from end-2018 Alain has his own ‘PROGRESSIVA’ show on Proton Radio, a US based digital radio station which also runs its own record label. Alain invites every month an international artist to provide a guest mix for the show. Alain also has residency on XBeat Radio, a French/Belgian digital radio station, providing his monthly ‘Elements’ podcast. 
His live dj performing path re-started mid-2019, after a sabbatical of nearly 20 years coming from the vinyl age. In that same year he became, and till date still is, resident at the Connecting Souls nights by Clay van Dijk. Ever since Alain has performed in clubs and on events where he shared the decks with Hermanez, Eran Aviner, Madloch, Lost Desert, Kasper Koman, Nicolas Rada, Marcelo Vasami, Alex O'Rion, Dmitry Molosh and Eichenbaum amongst others.
As from end-2019 Alain has started a collaboration with French producer Arnold Toutain, which resulted till date in productions which are released on Nature Rec, Musique de Lune, Future Avenue, 3rd Avenue and INTU Music. Each release has been supported by ‘El Maestro’ Hernan Cattaneo and many other well-respected artists in the community. Alain has started as well a collaboration with Argentinian dj/producer Valen Golanzez, receiving already early support in these and first official releases are expected at the start of 2025.
Alain is now also part of the Movement Bookings family, teaming up with artists like Alex O’Rion, Navar, Ruben Karapetyan and Hobin Rude amongst others.
Watch out for Alain as the coming years will bring more new music and gigs, which makes him here to stay!
