After an extensive catalog of digital deep, minimal and tech house releases, Mole Music makes its debut in the realm of vinyl with a fresh selection of dancefloor weapons from a fine array of artists, each offering their unique takes on deep house, tech, and minimal sounds. The A-side kicks off with JHNS "Nevermind", a minimalistic, low-end heavyweight groove driven by rubbery drums and a tight bassline. Steve End & Colau follow with a silky late-night hypnotic track, while El Funkador closes the A-side with an uplifting, drum-shuffling deep house cut, complete with funky synths and chord progressions. On the B-side, "Night Strobe", a collaboration between Alben, LAJE, and Erratic, brings a retro-futuristic feel with a fast-paced, garage-tinged vibe. On the A side, bs as deep shows his roots as a lover of Afro beats and his Latin influences.

For the B side, we have a collaborative work with an incredible musician who travels the world showing his skills on the keys. Lucio de Rosa participates with us for the first time, and in a forceful way.

It's fitting that the Stones Throw alumni would tap up Star Creature for round two on this next phase of Stimulator Jones’ already impressive musical journey! Coming off several incredible albums ranging from beats, RnB, jazz-funk, and all sorts of in between fusions for Stones Throw Records, arguably one of the most influential underground labels of last couple decades, Stimulator Jones pushes us even deeper into the underground club set on ‘The Stimulator Tracks Vol. 2’ via Tim Zawada's Star Creature label. 

Vol. 1 gave us part Larry Heard, part Ten City, part Ron Trent, Volume 2 comes a bit harder with even more analog production gear and techniques diving further along the historic progression of Chicago House music. 

Vol.2 opens with ‘Cali Red’, a massive, big-room space stomper that might leave dents on the dancefloor if it wasn't so atmospherically lifting! The rest of the EP follows heavily with a hefty bites of acid, deep, gritty filter disco, and borderline booty. The project lays down raw and uncut heaviness that somehow managed to stay soulful and breathable.  It’s another big 12" that fits somewhere between a Rhythm Tracks DJ tool or an undiscovered basement reel to reel demo tape.

This year's Bonkers Music compilation, celebrating its sixth anniversary, includes a stellar lineup of artists such as Neskeh, Mike Sacchetti (SXDNS168), David Meyer (SXDNS305), Leonor (SXDNS034), Radial Gaze, Persona RS, Ducati Flux (SXDNS213 as Max Ferrer), and Ludviq (SXDNS413), the big honcho himself. Together, these artists bring a diverse, high-energy collection of cuts that explore slightly evolved musical styles while staying true to the label’s signature sound.

Intruso's contribution to the soirée, "Somos Acido," is an electrifying journey back to the early days of House and Trance music. Hailing from Bogota and now based in Barcelona, Intruso seamlessly integrates classic influences into a fresh, vibrant composition that distinguishes itself in today's electronic music scene due to a rare complexity gait.

"Somos Acido" shines on the VA for its vibrant and energetic Acid bassline. This driving force propels the theme forward with relentless intensity, making it an undeniable dance floor favourite. The bassline, reminiscent of the early 2000s, perfectly encapsulates the essence of that era while infusing it with contemporary production techniques. Intruso's ability to capture the emotional resonance of his early experiences with electronic music is evident throughout the track. The melodies evoke a sense of nostalgia, transporting its audience back to a time when electronic music was still evolving and finding its place in the mainstream.
