Where it all began..

"Breaking the Ice” is the first beat I made using the MPC, diving headfirst into the workflow. Built around a soulful sample flip, the beat rides on laid-back swing-heavy drums, filtered textures, and a warm low end. It’s a loose, unpolished intro to what’s coming next, but it feels right: imperfect on purpose.

I can't believe it's been a full year since I dropped my first EP/Album! Sooo much has happened in that year. I've been doing a LOT of beatmaking and I'm super pleased to share my latest album! 'Moderate or Good' follows on from the first EP, but with much tighter production and sampling. Hopefully that's reflected in the beats as I've worked hard on this one! Let me know what you think. I'm hoping to have another album out over the summer, so get involved!

Pablo, better known as Soul Chemist is a well-known Beatmaker and producer from Valencia, Spain. 

His unique style of sampling and searching for the dark, analog sound makes his productions come to life and transport you into the atmosphere he has created. 
Among his works we can find several LPs in the form of a beatape such as Terror Crates, Flavours, Scarface among many others. 

Soul Chemist has also actively collaborated with international artists such as: Che Noir, Daytona Chavez, Reek Osama, Vero Pereira among many others. 
He is currently a member of Sony Music Publishing.

Mr. Hall holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Central Florida and a Master's of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Louisville. He studied with renowned figures like John Almeida and Grammy-nominated composer John La Barbera. A versatile trumpet player, Mr. Hall has performed with notable musicians, including Miles Davis's soprano saxophonist during his electric period, David Liebman, The 5th Dimension's Florence LaRue, Shelly Berg, Lorraine  Feather, Michael Phillip Mossman, Ray Charles's sideman, David "Fathead" Newman, and Mr. Hall played trumpet in Sam Rivers' Double Big Band World Premiere. His expertise is not limited to a single genre, but spans across Jazz, Classical, Hip-Hop, and R&B, showcasing his adaptability and range.
