About Me

I am André Pereira da Silva, a composer and life insurance agent based in Kissimmee, Florida. Born into a Christian family in Medianeira, Paraná, Brazil, music has been an integral part of my life since childhood. Inspired by my musical family, I began playing guitar in the early 1980s, later expanding to electric guitar and bass, primarily for church worship services.

A pivotal influence in my musical journey was my late brother, Levi, who passed away in November 1991. Levi introduced me to many artists and bands, and his love for music deeply shaped my tastes and inspired countless compositions. His passing marked a turning point in my life, drawing me closer to God and deepening my faith. Music became a way to process my grief and express gratitude, faith, and devotion.

Over the past decade, I have been living with Parkinson's disease, which has limited my ability to participate in the church band I once loved. Coupled with the reflective period brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, these challenges inspired me to dedicate myself to composing new songs. Leveraging modern AI technologies, I’ve created arrangements and voices for my lyrics, transforming them into fully realized pieces of music.

My compositions, available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, and Portuguese, reflect biblical values and explore themes such as grace, hope, and worship. They are freely accessible for use in performances, recordings, or worship services. I also curate thematic playlists on SoundCloud, making it easy for listeners to explore messages of faith and inspiration.
