We move onto our 122nd podcast of the series. This time from DJ and Producer Von GDK. With a recent release on our label, we are excited to host him for the podcast.

Emerging from the cosmic folds of genre defiance, Von GDK isn’t just a producer - he's a sonic illusionist blending genres with a playful disregard for convention.
Twisted, groovy, emotional, and always unpredictable, his project imposes him as an offroad architect of sound, here to lead the dancefloor into the weird and wonderful unknown.

Through releases on various French, English or Romanian electronic music labels, Von GDK is already carving strange memories onto electronic music’s ever-evolving canvas with a quirky mix of 90's nostalgia, ground shaking basslines and hypnotic atmospheres, all wrapped in a forward-thinking, style-blurring package.

"For this selection I've been aiming to depict a bit of my mental state and offer a selection that is really close to myself in terms of feelings and emotions. It is a massive pleasure to present it to you now. The result of this exercise outputs an atypical atmosphere of prog, minimal house, breakbeats and derivatives by choosing tracks that often stand at the limit of genres, and maintaining a progression between them in a particular way. Some kind of soft, soothing puddle of mind relief and existential curiosity. Hope you like it!”

Usually inhabiting the large crossing between progressive trance and 90's tech house, Von GDK is coming through with a mean streak of sci-fi propulsion and smooth dancefloor pressure, pushed into heads-down interzones of tunnelling throb and gloomy melodic flourish.
Curve spirit is a condensate of the French producer’s psychedelic scope in its rawest form. The EP takes shape in a three tracker oozing with his sound signature, complete with a remix of Berlin's cutie troublemaker 131bpm.

'Liquid Pharaoh' comes as contemplative scape of deep trance and proggy rhythms with ethereal atmospheres and notions of introspection for a definite meditative club use.

Bertha not only inspires the people around her with her positive energy and penchant for creativity on the dance floor but also on the decks. With her feeling for the music and the vibe in the room, the Hamburg native develops an atmosphere of a pleasant get-together and leads those who love dancing into a world of the fantastic.
