Wow, Ozora Festival 2022... What an incredible experience. Located in Hungary during the first week of August, it was one of the highlights of the 2022 festival season. After a 2+ year pandemic that caused the cancelation and delay of almost all musical gatherings across the globe, 2022 marked the return to dancefloors again, and we were once again able to reunite with old friends, and make new ones.

I was both excited and honored in late 2019 when I was originally asked by the Ozora organizers to DJ the main Ozora Stage. And after waiting 2.5 years, I was finally able to experience one of the best DJ gigs of my life. It happened on August 2nd, and lasted 90 minutes, from 11:30am to 1:30pm,  and it was something I will never forget. Performing on that stage, to such a huge crowd of thousands of smiling, energetic psytrance fans, I had a blast the whole time. If you were there, I hope you enjoyed yourself. And if you weren't, I hope you enjoy listening to this live recording of my Ozora 2022 Main Stage DJ set!

Sonorous alias Saskia Samesch hatte schon in jungen Jahren den Bezug zur Clubkultur gefunden. So kam sie zur elektronischen Musik und verliebte sich direkt. Sonorous baute eine tiefe Verbindung zu dieser Musik auf und probierte sich deshalb als DJane aus. Sie hat eine Leidenschaft entdeckt, welche sie so erfüllt, wie noch nie etwas zuvor. Es gibt nichts Schöneres für sie, als die Menschen mit ihrer Musik glücklich zu machen. Schnell fand sie viele Jahre zuvor die Liebe zum Psytrance. Die treibenden Bässe und psychedelischen Sounds des Fullon und Forest Psytrance weiß sie zu kombinieren und richtig einzusetzen. Man erkennt ihre Sets daran, dass sie immer eine Geschichte erzählen, die jeden dazu einladen, zuzuhören und sich treiben zu lassen. Also viel Spaß beim Hören <3

Label administrator and resident DJ of Zero1 Music, Brian Sentient hails from Los Angeles, California, where he has been one of the top psytrance DJs for many years. He started DJing in San Francisco in 2001, with the legendary (((Thump))) crew. Since then, he has been deeply involved in the psychedelic trance community of California, and has also brought his DJing to a global audience, not only as a psytrance DJ, but also playing a mesh of techno/tech-house for gigs that require a slower BPM.

He has had the pleasure of playing on the main stages of some of the biggest psychedelic festivals in the world. Events such as: Origin Festival in South Africa, Ozora Festival in Hungary, Boom Festival in Portugal, Brazil's Universo Paralello, Quebec's Eclipse Festival, and the awe-inspiring Burning Man festival. He's even played at the infamous Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, where he got to play on one of the art cars during the midnight art car parade through the center of the massive rave.

Before Zero1, he was a label DJ for Alchemy Records in the mid-to-late 2000's, and then joined with Spun Records in 2010, and released his first compilation, "Be Spun", which included some of the biggest dance floor tracks of that year. At the end of 2011, he and the rest of the Zero1 crew formed Zero1 Music, and Brian has been rocking the world with the label's amazing music ever since.

This year he has already played in Goa, India, and is booked to DJ the main stage at Ozora in Hungary again. He is also honored to be playing at the world-famous Lightning in a Bottle festival in California, where he hopes to continue to convert more of the masses to the psychedelic trance world with his special ability of showcasing user-friendly, groovy, uplifting, and melodic (yet always psychedelic) psytrance.
