They say reality is stranger than fiction, but Fiction’s music is everything but. Real psychedelia, real spiritual journey, real mayhem on the dancefloor, is what can be described as the staple sound of Nikola Perić. Back In 2006, he decided to invest in his knowledge regarding music production and to elevate it to the professional level, and in 2010 he acquired bachelor’s degree as an Audio and Video Technologies engineer at the prestige Belgrade’s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies. After devoting his time and energy into Makida to ensure that the fan base has grown ever stronger and continues to conquer the dancefloors all across the globe, Nikola brought forth his attention to Fiction project. He started claiming top spots on Beatport charts, culminating by reaching no. 1 spot with “Shika” EP, released on Digital Om. Twisted, distorted yet powerful tracks with meticulously layered melodic leads, and a strong message to all listeners and dancefloor warriors alike, Nikola has brought back the good old Psytrance from the beginning of 2000’s, with a modern concept made manifested into the signature sound that is Fiction!

MAKIDA are Milos Modrinic (a.k.a. Copycat and member of Sideform project) and Nikola Peric (a.k.a. Fiction), both from Belgrade, Serbia. These two producers met at audio-engineering school in 2006 and with mutual music interests finally started to produce together in 2013. Their music can be described as pure psychedelic trance with driving bass-lines, screaming leads and atmospheric textures followed by strong groove and rhythm, which combined together create the trademark style of MAKIDA. In 2014 they released their debut EP called "Knowledge" and in November same year, Nikola and Milos released their first full length album "Measure of Reality". 
Many other releases followed such as "Realm of Intelligence" and "Temple of Elohi" EPs, singles, remixes etc.
In December 2016 their second studio album goes out, “The Fractal Phenomena” and becomes instant hit around the world. In 2017 four new blasting EPs were released: Transcape Remixes Vol 1, Creative Nature, Journey and Invisible Spectrum. 2018 started with amazing remix to “1200 Micrograms – Ecstasy” and new EP called “Energy Gainer”. Many other fantastic collaborations tracks with Hypnoise, Relativ, Ital, Micky Noise, Atomic Pulse, Attik & Intelligence, Helber Gun came after alongside new hit singles such as “Déjà vu, Tesla, Musical Sphere, Distant Voices” and so on.

Makida's fan base is getting bigger and stronger every day and their music is reaching top spots on PsyTrance charts with every new release.
