Orchestral composition inspired by Lorenzo Lanfranconi’s artwork The Dudj Brothers.

I began writing this piece during Ryan Leach’s October 2023 composing competition, but I did not finish it in time. After setting it aside for a while, I returned with fresh ears and completed the arrangement and mix, resulting in this final version.

The music has a playful, mischievous character with minimalistic chamber-style instrumentation. Quirky motifs lead to a fast-paced chase in the final section, creating a lively and adventurous musical story.

This tune started with the random, goofy title first. I came up with the basic music and melody, then left it for a while because it didn't turn out well. I gave it another try, and this is the finished song. It's definitely a potluck one. filled with lyrics that are more about cadence than making sense. I hope you enjoy!
