His electronic alter ego Wes Lee was created through a path of spiritual awakening pushed upon him by ancestral healing/cathartic experiences and simultaneously being inspired by his mom’s hero.

Wes Lee is a well known figure in the Dutch Electronic and Afro/Amapiano movement, hosting groundbreaking events and playing the sound of fusion at many festivals and clubs.

As the focus in the world of electronic music is returning to the continent where that drum beat started, it only made sense to drop his first production on Philou Louzolo’s label Wokoundou Music.

Chuck Black is a multifaceted individual who has exhibited a true craftsmanship when it comes to his musical performance. As an observer of his own interior world, he has dove into various styles which he learned to love, from deep-house and house classics, to Afro-infused electronic beats. Rooted in his Cameroonian-French upbringing, he has packed on impactful rhythms combining powerful drums with ethereal, almost dreamy melodies.

As a member of the duo @cdfislove, Chuck Black is leaving a mark in every venue he has performed. As a solo act, he has appeared all over Europe, in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Paris, and Prague to name a few and more recently in South East Asia.
