Dr. Winemaker is a graduate of McMaster University Medical School. She has completed residency training in Family Medicine, and fellowship training in Palliative Medicine. Her clinical work is predominately community based, caring for people in their home. She is an associate clinical professor at McMaster University in the Department of Family Medicine, Division of Palliative Care. She has held multiple leadership roles including McMaster Postgraduate Curriculum Lead, Hospice Medical Director, Regional Palliative Clinical Lead and Medical Lead Palliative Care Outreach Team. She is an active educator and researcher. Most importantly, Dr. Winemaker is an advocate for palliative care reform.  She believes strongly that basic principles of palliative care should be the responsibility of all health care providers and integrated into care seemlessly, upstream in the patient’s illness journey. She is the co-creator of the social movement called The Waiting Room Revolution, the co-host of the Waiting Room Revolution podcast, co-authour of the book Hope For The Best Plan For The Rest: 7 Keys for Navigating a Life-Changing Diagnosis, and very active voice on multiple social media platforms. She has won numerous awards for her leadership and palliative care education for health care professionals.

It's at this point where Kris and Suzy part ways, leaving Kris to explore the hospital entirely on their own... which is where this song plays! This song plays during the majority of the main explorative portions of the hospital, and additionally serves as its battle theme... which means we've got yet another batch of enemies to reveal! 

For additional context, I should explain that some of these swaps relate to what the CORE swaps with... that being the True Lab! This swap takes the general "trying to save lives" idea and gives it a more... positive spin. I hope.

As for this variant...
The hospital staff are trying to keep unauthorized personnel out of the places they're not authorized to be. Unfortunately for Kris, navigating through the hospital in the hopes of finding a way out requires them go through some of these areas. So when Kris happens to be in these sorts of areas with the risk of being caught (and promptly kicked out) by hospital staff, the song fades into this variant.

"The Waiting Room" observes the silent epidemic of deferred dreams through the lives of everyday people. Set in a Monday morning coffee shop, it weaves together stories of those caught in the purgatory of "someday" - from Sarah's five-year plan that never starts, to Mike's unseen paintings waiting for perfect light.  The song examines how people postpone their lives while waiting for the perfect moment. Through specific characters and situations, it builds a powerful commentary on how time slips away while dreams gather dust on the shelf of good intentions.

The followup to 2021's The Sum of the In-Between, the title is a very real place as Maria found herself stuck in sterile clinics hoping for answers to inscrutable chronic pain, and a dream-like, surreal space representing her own inner world. “This album is an exploration of the roadblocks, both internally and externally, that keep us feeling powerless and taking away our agency,” she says.

The fifth song in The Old Switcheroo's "Merciless Run". Plays during your encounter with Undyne. After your brief encounter with Alphys, you encounter Undyne very, very early on in Coldfront. At first you're led to believe that your attack on her was enough to deal mortal damage to her, to the point of being able to continue further into Coldfront. It takes mere moments for this illusion to be shattered, however. As soon as Undyne recovers, she charges at you and forces you into battle.

Fueled by pure spite and naturally-increased Willpower and her generally higher DEF stats--while she's significantly weaker than her Undying form in Undertale--she still puts up quite a hell of a fight against you.
