ill always be 10 toes down when they turn they nose up
even back then something felt like we was chosen
on a planned path got stuck in the cold like we were frozen
the passion burnt up
left me all alone when my pride was truly hurting
grew from it like cancer but im in remission
shared grief with a friend something now we laugh about
progressed alone by myself to see what myself was bout
it would be a lie if said i left the regrets with it
i regressed in private fearing my burdens were too much for friends
looking back on it now i know loss inevatible
but my new strengths keep me from lost, and somewhat formiddable
