those of us that feel drawn to gather in the dark, hugged by towering speakers, surrounded by the artifacts of an industrial past, understand there is more to what happens here than simply rampant hedonism and debauchery.

in these dusty walls, these basements of brick and bunkers of concrete, we congregate and partake in our communion. a rhythmic offering, an engagement with the present and with it, a presence with the divine.

amongst the pounding kick drums, the rumbling bass and aggressive darkness we find ourselves staring into the void, enraptured by the majesty of its darkness.

in it we somehow find solace that our experiences with the hardships of life are not isolated or in vain, in fact they should be celebrated for they mean that we are conscious and alive and experiencing something unique and powerful, a gift worthy of the loss of immortality, worthy of the pain and heartbreak.

so together let us summon the serpent, let us celebrate the darkness, let us dance into the night as the world around us crumbles into dust and nothingness. let everything we are fall away into sound and light until the only thing that remains is the soul laid bare, receiving a direct line to the pulsing energy of our collective consciousness.

confluence is defined as the meeting of two or more forms to create something new and indistinct such as when rivers meet the sea, each individual part losing its identity and becoming part of a greater whole.
konfluence takes this philosophy and applies it to bass music, seamlessly fusing genres and styles into something new.

starting his bass music journey in dubstep he was quickly introduced to jungle, dub, drum n bass, tech house followed by uk funky, trap and bassline. after further years of delving into all the corners of dark dance music he could find he's landed on a sound fusing glitch hop, ghetto funk, tech house, techno and bass house with smatterings of all his earlier influences and many more. it comes together to create bass music not quite like anything you've heard before.
