This mix is inspired by the recent Luminosity Beach Festival in Zandvoort, which I was fortunate enough to catch for the second year running. What a remarkable and magical event showcasing the best trance and techno DJ talent from around the world (and Paul Oakenfold)!

The Sound of Lass-B 2k25 (They Call it Techno Edition)

For this mix I returned to the library of music that I couldn't squeeze into DFN 001. I added tracks that I hadn't owned previously, including the Will Atkinson tracks, Halycon and John O'Callaghan remixes. It also features the massive Karney remix of Bicep - Glue. This is a celebration of late 2000's / early 2010's power trance and is probably the mix that I'm most proud of!

"Music was my first love and it will be my last" 

I was able to handle a turntable at the age of 3 ... Predestination?! :)

Except of many other music styles I am listening to, like Trip Hop, Lounge, Easy Listening, Soul etc. ... Electronic Music was always one of my favourites. 80s Synthie Pop, Chicago House Sound, Acid, Rave, House, Techno, Trance.

Since 1999/2000 I started mixing at friends decks, till I got my own Technics 1210 MK2 turntables in 2002 and they still work :)

I don't make my mixes for any commercially reasons. I don't earn money with them only spent a lot of money for Vinyl, CDs and files over the years. I am not into social networks, don't even have an account at any of the usual networks, except Soundcloud. 

I don't need fake followers, fake plays, fake comments, fake reposting. Everyone I catch, gets blocked and reported. 10 real plays, followers, comments are much better than 1000 bots/fakes ...

Doomy

Playing both nationally and internationally for close to 20 years, HarderFaster.net legend, Miles Gorfy’s inimitable, uplifting and energetic style has established a reputation like no other.

Miles is the Music Director for the infamous HarderFaster Xmas Party and hosts the increasingly popular HDM @ Club 414 event, the small club with the Big DJs, where he actively promotes the newest and freshest sounds. Summers are spent playing in Ibiza for both HarderFaster and Hard Dance Ibiza, or at festivals including Magical and Chilled in a Field.

With an enviable list of events to his name that include Frantic, Sundissential, Smile, Subversion and Trance Sanctuary, not forgetting he is the DJ behind the much revered Smile CD, you can next catch him guesting at Flying High.
