About Jerry Chiu:

San Francisco-based DJ, producer, and label boss Jerry Chiu has been a driving force in the progressive house scene for over a decade. His journey into electronic music began in the early 90s, influenced by pioneering acts such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and The Prodigy. However, it was the early 2000s that marked a turning point when his passion for DJing took shape after attending immersive club events in San Francisco.

Since then, Jerry has built a reputation for delivering deep, hypnotic, and emotionally resonant sets. His sound has reached global audiences through guest appearances on esteemed internet radio platforms, including Frisky Radio, Subcode, Proton Radio, and DI.FM. In 2014, his commitment to the underground dance scene led him to establish Droid9. Expanding his vision further, he launched Droid9 South America and Droid9 Limited in 2020. The labels have since become renowned for curating forward-thinking progressive house, featuring both established and emerging artists from around the world.

Beyond his work as a label curator, Jerry remains an active figure in San Francisco’s club circuit. He has graced the decks at some of the city's most iconic venues, including Public Works, The Great Northern, Audio Club, The Mint, VIA Hotel Rooftop, and The Midway. With an unwavering dedication to the craft, he continues to push the boundaries of progressive house, ensuring its evolution remains as dynamic and captivating as ever.

Episode 10: Diving Deep with Will Daley

This time, we’re joined by Will from Chicago — a producer whose sound lives in the space between rhythmic energy and emotional depth. Blending progressive, organic, and deep house, his music feels less like individual tracks and more like cinematic journeys — evolving, breathing, and endlessly immersive.

Though Will officially began his music career in December 2023, his relationship with sound started long before. Raised in a home filled with classical and jazz, and trained on cello, trumpet, and piano, his background continues to echo through his productions — in the lush harmonies, intricate arrangements, and the unexpected tenderness woven into even the most driving beats.

Will crafts music that invites you to get lost — stories told through sound, unfolding with intention. His inspirations come from an eclectic mix of artists across countless genres, from neoclassical to house, from jazzy improvisations to cutting-edge electronic sound design.

And above all, Will just loves making noise. Always has. In every form. Sometimes to the delight of those around him… sometimes not. But that restless creativity is exactly what makes his music so alive, so real, and so unmistakably his.
