Lavern joins the Launch Pad at the EDMAs in Miami to talk all things music and his rise to fame. 

Laurens Elshof, aka LAVERN, is a 23- year-old producer and DJ from the Netherlands. Inspired by his small hometown-village near Amsterdam, his music combines dance and energetic night life vibes with more chill and sunset feelings. In 2021, Lavern started his musical journey with an opening track ‘Move Me’ that reached more than 35M streams on DSPs and went viral on Instagram reels (760k+ videos). Release after release, he’s been able to develop an audience of 7.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and reached more than 210M streams, thanks to his very unique stutter house music. One of his latest songs ‘Hold Me’, is one of the leading track of the stutter house movement and reached more than 100million streams on DSPs in 7 months, benefiting from a lot of support on TikTok and Instagram Reels. He never stops developing his sound and exploring new vibes with official remixes for Kygo & Ava Max and Becky G singles, but also with his latest releases like his dreamy and contagious version of “La Leçon Particulière” by Francis Lai, and the intense “Human” released on Martin Garrix’ record label STMPD RCRDS.

LAVERN has recently embarked on his first tour across the US, Canada, and Mexico, playing sold-out shows in prestigious venues such as Brooklyn Mirage New York, Spybar Chicago and LooLoo Mexico City. He is also making appearances at major festivals like Horizon Festival in San Diego and Summerfest in Milwaukee. Additionally, LAVERN is performing this summer at prominent European events including Tomorrowland, La Clairière in Paris, and Ushuaia Ibiza.

Boasting support from Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Avicii, The Chainsmokers, Showtek, Knife Party, David Guetta, and many more, Ray Decker better known as “Kastra” has made quite a name for himself in a few short years. Born and raised on the Jersey Shore, a community deeply rooted in music history, Ray is a true product of his environment.

The Trifecta! Aviella, Jayem & Zack Martino Talk Song Success, Staying Grounded & Give Thanks!

Gilbert Le Funk is a DJ, musician and record producer.
 
Starting to compose at the age of 11, he got into music production in the late 90s, greatly influenced by the eurodance and house music of Paul Van Dyk, Bob Sinclar, Armand Van Helden, or ATB. Though later he would spend the day listening to more diverse music, from Stravinsky to Casiopea, Incognito or Frank Zappa, which lead him to learn to play electric bass and trumpet as well as setting up is own studio, where he would first work as a musical arranger for other artists.

In 2005 he was moving away from acid jazz and his label La Musique Fantastique was born, starting his Gilbert Le Funk project by making remixes for labels Delecto (CAN), Catch 22 (NYC) or Transport (SF) as well as playing some of the biggest soulful house music acts all over Spain. In 2006 he produced “Work It Out” for DJ Disciple, a track that would mark a before and after in his career, making him responsible for one of the underground hymns during that year. Later, his remix of "L.A. Girls" was premiered by Dimitri From Paris and used on the MTV series "The Hills". In 2008, "Afrikantastique" got licensed by Defected and Subliminal and it wasn't long until he became a major player in the house scene. 

A solid string of releases have followed since then, topping the charts "All About the 90s", "Something", "New Dawn" or the more recent "Wanna Be Free", taking him to tour the world as a DJ, playing venues from the US to Costa Rica, Russia or UAE.
