CLB 291: How to Create a Successful Business

Understanding how to create and maintain a world class offer for your business or brand (i.e. your core product or service that you offer) is THE most important thing to focus on getting “right” in your business. This is why I created the concept of “Intentional Professional Development”. 

In the coaching and personal development industry, as well as the online business space, very few of us are required to participate in any form of professional development. This means we rarely learn the process required to maintain the core skills we use and rely upon to execute our products and services (i.e. the most important aspect of our business). 

This is NOT a one and done process. You create and maintain a competitive, industry leading, world class offer for your business (which is what business success & your personal fulfillment requires) through an un-ending commitment, development and refinement of your CRAFT. 

New certifications and business coaching/mentorship rarely addresses this. In fact, both assume your offer is as good as it can be. But where is the support in making sure that is the case?

This is what we’re talking about in today’s episode. CLB 296: The World Class Business Cycle - Take Your Business From $0 to $200K+

Today we are doing a deep dive into the first PHASE of the business cycle and an offer’s journey from $0 to $200K+ in revenue: Starting your signature offer.

It is SO important to consider 8 specific things when designing a signature offer for your business so that you build your business on a foundation that will set you up for success in the long term. 

Many coaches, personal development providers and business owners are not doing this and then have to go back to this phase of the  business journey to re-align and start again - usually with lots of stress, frustration and resentment by this stage. And unfortunately for many they simply quit their business for good.  

But not you! 

This episode is for you if you’re: Starting a new offer for your business, starting a business for the first time, thinking about pivoting your business, if you’re an established business owner but something doesn’t feel aligned or right with your current business model, you’re thinking about expanding your suite of offers for your business or you now need a new signature offer for your business in order to meet your new business, life or scaleability goals. 

In fact - I recommend that you all listen to this episode no matter what’s happening in your business right now as it’s very likely at least 1 of these 8 considerations that I speak to in this episode have not been intentionally considered and therefore should be as soon as possible in order to avoid future issues.

This is the MOST UNDER-SUPPORTED and OVER-LOOKED phase of the business cycle, and is the KEY to easier, faster and simpler results for your business and to creating a world class business. 

Most coaches, personal development providers and business owners rush ahead trying to grow an offer that has not been VALIDATED first. Once you validate your offer - you have a validated marketing & sales process that uniquely works to sell your offer. 

The sooner you figure this out - the sooner you can get to doing what you do best, which is DELIVERING your offer and serving the people your business is here to serve.
