Some Dabble in Woodwork others Gardening, me I spend my time listening and scheming on what kind of music i want to piece together next. Ultimately creating, dancing and mixing with the little free time I have to myself; to put me back to a place I call home THE UNDERGROUND. The place where I connect to sound and people who share a common purpose despite our diverse life choices. The Underground will live forever baby; we just like roaches, never die always living...and on that note lets get back to the program.
[Brief Me-Story]
Preacherman [Yumm Yumm Good]...a DJ whose dance music tastes are as varied as the friends he keeps. To him the 4/4 beat is the foundation, the canvas for which any possibility can lead to a feeling, a need; a want to DANCE. Since the age of 16, he has been into dance music; during that time he also set up a small DJ business with a couple of friends and they played the High School circuit for the next couple of years. 

Preacherman came across 'House Afire' on K-Tel records sometime in 1989 and easily fell spell to the sounds and the rythms of Soul 2 Soul, Inner City and trax like Yo Yo Get Funky, Voodo Ray and Notice Me. Influenced by his dad’s collection of Disco and Jazz; blended with his mother’s Latin blood, he brings a rhythmic flavor to his sets; each one different in its approach, as he believes in sharing his ever changing mood through the sounds produced by the global talent in the scene today. 

A weekend club warrior and an avid collector of MOONSHINE, Perfecto and Renaissance Compilations et.al; circa 1993-2000, the Preacherman would not begin to immerse himself in the DJ art until he set foot in the Guvernment, Toronto (c. 2005). A city which boast one of the most concentrated blend of underground talent and House Music lovers in the world.  

Beginning in 2005 he has carefully networked his way into the DJ community sharing his passion for House Music. Through hard work, dedication and a genuine love of the people that have made this music the soundtrack to their lives, Preacherman teamed up with BOUNCE; their collective energies have hosted some great Funky House talent [DJ Sneak, Sonny Fodera, DJ MES, DJ DAN, Hector Morales, JT Donaldson, Jason Hodges]; having a direct impact in shaping and reviving a sound that is refreshingly welcomed in Toronto. 

Preacherman has returned to New York after spending the last 8 years in Toronto. While he has left the scene as a club warrior, the beat has not left him and he has been preparing for a moment like this. His unique style of play and music selections are influenced by the likes of Steve Lawler [ViVa], Nathan Barato [Roots & Wings], Danny Howells, Hernan Cateneo, Deep Dish, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Ricky Ryan...the list can go on. When in the mix Preacherman imagines the dark rooms of some of the greatest undergound clubs he has visited around the world, creating a delicious groove energy from his crate of Funky Deep Tech Minimal Techno Producers.

Bertha not only inspires the people around her with her positive energy and penchant for creativity on the dance floor but also on the decks. With her feeling for the music and the vibe in the room, the Hamburg native develops an atmosphere of a pleasant get-together and leads those who love dancing into a world of the fantastic. She herself describes her sound geographically: early education in Hamburg, teenage years in MV, garnished with Berlin and Leipzig sprinkles. Bertha plays whatever moves her heart. Deep grooves, rhythmic vocals, and the clarity of swung percussion, with it an entirely unique approach to creating House music. Malle, a Norfolk UK based DJ/Producer embraces this style and adapts it to suit any dance floor.
Preferring not to be bogged down in the sinking marsh of sub-genre pigeonholing that pollutes electronic music, Malle portrays infectious House beats, which is unashamedly soulful, funky mixed with dark and driving. 

What started as some free bootlegs led to exposure for what is now Original releases on labels Cream, YAYA, Transform, KUBU and many more. Following this success came bookings across the UK & Europe including Main Stage festival sets at Modified Nationals, Festival TOO, Curious Yellow festival, Ibiza and regular gigs for events over the UK such as YAYA, Jacked & EFFECT.

Malle currently holds down a monthly radio residency on iStreem radio just after Sam Divine’s Defected show, while also holding down a live residency at DT’s Kings Lynn Uk alongside regular shows in Norwich UK, as well as co running his own event and record label 'EFFECT' and managing his brand 'Ware The House'. 
With more releases in the pipeline on Bbop, Sidetrak and Fast Crab, Malle is definitely a name to follow if you like dance music.

Eridu delivers a unique fusion of jazzy grooves, punchy beats and infectious rhythm patterns, earning international acclaim and heavyweight support in the new-generation house scene.

In March 2022, they landed their first official release in the form of a 10-track LP on the Kiev-based label Whoyostro.

In 2023, their single 'Future Teller' was released on the Amsterdam-based label NEED, racking up an impressive support list, including ANOTR, Jaden Thompson and Fleur Shore. This track was also featured on the UK's BBC Radio 1.

Releases on AVOTRE and PURISM extended Eridu's momentum throughout 2023 and 2024, adding the likes of Jamie Jones and Dennis Cruz to the support list.

In summer 2024, Eridu's 'Set The Mood' and 'Hip No Thighs' followed their successful streak of releases and generated an ongoing impact in streams, along with top features in Spotify's editorial dance playlists as well as receiving extensive support by Marco Carola and Dennis Cruz.
