An intimate piano and vocal cover of Afterglow by Ed Sheeran. I recorded this live in one take; just wanting to sit with the honesty and simplicity of the song. I really like this song; it came out just before Christmas in the Covid years, during a poignant time for me when things were difficult with my parents; so it has become a song about perseverance and holding on through hard times.

This version stays close to the original chords and melody; but it is a little slower and more spacious; with soft dynamics and a few natural pauses so the lyrics can breathe. It sits in a male vocal register and keeps that late night; reflective; slightly wintery feel all the way through.

Recorded in London as part of the Rita Road Sessions; a series of live one take performances on a baby grand.

André Tiago Valente Vieira, better known artistic & currently as DJ PADLOVSKY & formerly as ANDREW PADLOCK, is a 26 years old DJ and producer from Matosinhos, Portugal .


He started to perform seriously as a DJ in 2019, specifically in Lais de Guia (a renowned bar from his hometown - Matozinhos), in renowned perfumme shops from Portugal such as DOUGLAS and PERFUMES E COMPANHIA and also on his ex- school for the mailing campaign list six years ago & he performed in the portuguese female store LOJA CARLA VALENTE, also in his hometown in 2020. 

Three years ago, he performed in PANGEIA SOURE FESTIVAL, in Soure (Portugal) for a dj contest set where the crowd get nuts.

At the beggining of April from last year, he played on LAIS DE GUIA again.

He also performed lately ago on BÔITE PORTO for the second round of the ninth DJ CONTEST SET from QUEIMA DAS FITAS DO PORTO 23 season.

He played at the event of the 20th birthday from the portuguese female store LOJA CARLA VALENTE on 13th April of 2023.


After that, he played at LAIS DE GUIA in the last summer.

On 2024, he played at the event of the 21st birthday from the portuguese female store LOJA CARLA VALENTE again on 13th April. He also performed this year on BÔITE PORTO at 15th April for the second round of the DJ CONTEST SET from QUEIMA DAS FITAS DO PORTO 24 season.

On 18th May, he performed at Albufeira, in the Algarve, for the semifinals of the DJ CONTEST from KISS DISCO CLUB.

He performed at LOJA CARLA VALENTE on November 16, 2024, but at that time on the warehouse.

On 12nd April of 2025, he played at LOJA CARLA VALENTE on the main establishment for the 22nd birthday from the female clothing store.

On July 4, he made his debut on ZN Market Outlet (Fashion & Tattoo Studio Store in Matosinhos). He played again there twice at July 11 & 12.

Two major achievements in his career was the support of a mashup/edit made in collaboration with the Indian DJ and producer called HARDDIX (Sub Zero Project vs Hardwell & Azteck ft. olliray makes emotive, cinematic music that sits between intimate piano ballads and modern electronic soundscapes. A singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London, he blends live piano and guitar with textured production to create songs that feel close and expansive at the same time.

Alongside his original work, he records stripped-back piano and guitar covers of songs he loves. These late-night performances sit naturally beside his own writing, shaped by the same focus on atmosphere, storytelling and emotional detail.

He had a short spell of violin lessons when he was younger; everything else on piano, guitar and production is self-taught. That instinctive path runs through his music; he writes, plays and shapes his songs by ear, chasing what feels honest rather than what follows the rulebook.

His debut single BoxRox and first album Stuck in Traffic captured a raw, lyric-driven phase where he produced and sang everything himself. Between followed, pushing further into experimental electronic textures. He then released Piano for Yoga, a live, meditative piano recording created in a single continuous flow for a yoga video soundtrack.

In 2024 he returned to his roots with Lost Romance, an album built from songs written 18 years earlier and revisited with a more reflective, nostalgic perspective. It moves between gentle piano pieces and fuller arrangements, tying his early ideas to the sound he has grown into now.

He is currently working on new music that continues to blur the lines between acoustic songwriting and electronic production, always searching for the balance between warmth, space and emotional weight.
