Ten years ago the first person I've met in a club was noone other than Mike Koglin himself. At that time I was a bloody trance addict that loved the 2010 sound and classics a lot. 
The taste and the music itself is always evolving and is personally fining like a good red wine with the years it's getting better and better. 
It's a natural process to switch from Trance to the sounds of Progressive that's what i heard and felt last weekend at Club Birgit.

A month ago I scrolled through event and club pages to search for a Progressive party. As I was finally been able to go out on a club night again. 

I was so suprised to see languages music (@languagesmusic) there. My favourite label of the neighbouring capitol city.

Headlining Sudhaus (@sudhausmusic) which is Moodfreak (@moodfreak) and Mike Koglin (@mikekoglin) is no coincidence. Excatly 10 years later in Berlin again.
I made it through the night, bit too early tho as my body wasn't prepared and used to do such things at night again. Nonetheless I am so happy of the memories made and the great music I've heard. Awesome lineup, so great tracklists it was a geniue event.
I tried to express my last club night feelings in my todays special mixtape DPS 159. 
It's a Progressive and Melodic House & Techno only set 2 hours of the finest beats from 120 - 123 bpm, enjoy it now.

Addicted To The Underground 009 // September 2024 (Seba Busto Tribute Mix)

Welcome to the episode 56 of ZZGO Radio coming at you from Burning Man 2024 in Black Rock City, Nevada.  It's been a magical week so far here on the playa but I took some time out to record this episode.

While I've done a bunch of regional Burning Man events, this is my first time at the official Burning Man.  If you're not familiar with Burning Man, it's a week-long cultural and arts festival held deep in the desert here in the US.  While it's not a music festival, there is a ton of music here, along with incredible art, amazing art cars, a very unique culture, and so much more.

On the music front, this is the first episode that I recorded completely on a laptop using Ableton Live.  Normally I prefer to record my mixes live using DJ equipment, but I didn't want to haul my setup a thousand plus miles out here to Burning Man.  So far, I prefer the live recording approach, but maybe I'll give it another go on the laptop in the future.

Dialectics (n.) – The art of investigating or discussing the truth of opinions. The discourse between two people holding opposing viewpoints view but trying to establish a common truth through reasoned discussion.

Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin : Yang label concept, musical discourse is brought to life through the meticulous choices of Tripp Baronner – DJ, curator and full-time member of the Proton team. Presenting “Dialectics,” a monthly show airs on Proton Radio and DI.fm showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours.

Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse.

Neuralis whose real name is Roberto Martinez is a Spanish DJ and producer originating from Granada. His interest in electronic music started at a very young age and has consumed his adult life.

His initial exposure to electronic music developed in his home town to the sounds of Techno and House. At his first major event Creamfields in Almeria, Spain he was introduced to Progressive House and other melodies by artists such as John Digweed, James Holden and Hernan Cattaneo.

He got his first pair of decks aged just nineteen and started to perform at venues across his home town. As he gained experience and a bigger repertoire he started to venture further performing in cities such as Madrid, Córdoba, Seville, and Málaga.

He has shared the wheels of steel with renowned heavyweights including Guy J, Darin Epsilon, Quivver, Nick Muir, Kamilo Sanclemente, Quivver, Cid Inc, Hernan Cattaneo, and many more. His productions focus on Melodic and Progressive House and Techno and he has releases on a fair few labels.

He's currently based in Seville and holds regular events across the urban sprawl in collaboration with other electronic artists based in the city and beyond. His main focus is to develop his production abilities and release quality melodies in the coming year.

His music is constantly supported by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Gai Barone, Nicolas Rada, Dj Ruby, Ruben Karapetyan, Dowden, Paul Thomas, Alexey Sonar, Fonarev, Mayro, Cream and many others.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 2,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.
