This is my officially licensed re-recording of Bond Averts World War Three by John Barry from You Only Live Twice.  I reconstructed the entire piece by ear and tried to keep it as close to Barry's original as possible (if not slightly more amped up).

I saw this movie in a theater in 1967, the movie and music was so captivating for this 8 year old, I would never be the same. I love James Bond movies and the music is a genre of its own. It was a new style of music that John Barry created. To this day the artists chosen to do the theme song of a Bond movie consider it a privilege.

Bond vs Blofeld

I have always had an admiration of electronic synthesizer music. Particularly that of the the late 1970's and consequently the golden age of the 1980's, where groups like Depeche Mode, Japan, Gary Numan, OMD, Human League made their mark.

A bizarre influence was Mantovani to name a few. 

He was an Anglo-Italian conductor, composer and light orchestra-styled entertainer with a cascading strings musical signature

All these musicians were a great influence on myself and the music I now produce.

Along with the bass guitar, in which in my opinion works so well with this genre of music, I am happy with the sound produced in my compositions.
So here I am, producing my own brand of the quintessence sound.

Born and Raised in New Orleans, music was my first love. After seeing  James  Bond ‘You Only Live Twice’ in the late sixties, the theme music had a profound affect on me.  I played in Rock bands throughout  the late seventies and eighties, writing and composing rock melodies,  but appreciated all genres of music.  Raising a family became the most important thing for the next 20 years, so music was set aside, but never forgotten. After moving to Nashville in 2018, music has once again stoked this passion for writing and composing music from a low flame into a full burn. Now I find myself on a new and unique avenue writing cinematic music using MIDI guitar and keys.
