After the successful launch of Moisees & Zea's "Recuerdo Futuro" on the "Year IV" compilation, we have decided to re-release it as an EP, now loaded with a new original cut called “Ondas” and remixes by Theus Mago, Mystery Affair, and Ludviq & Rina.
Both original tracks reflect Moisees & Zea’s nostalgia for a past not lived, rave memories created by book stories, old flyers, and nineties movies. The opening cut, "Recuerdo Futuro", is driven by rumbling kick drums, melted vocals, and sinister stabs. Next is, "Ondas", combines house pianos, solid drums, acid sounds, and dreamy vibes. Definitely, both tracks are dancefloor killers.
The first remix is made by Theus Mago, one of the most talented producers in Mexico and founder of Duro label with Moisees, who comes up with a "sexy" and quite groovy version. Followed by the Mexican star Mystery Affair, who lands with an acid remix. Finally, we have a new collaboration between Ludviq & Rina, with a darker and deeper remix, featuring hypnotic and mystical vocals, perfect to close the EP.
Moisees & ZEA's "Recuerdo Futuro" will be available on May 3rd. The EP is well crafted and offers some unique sounds while maintaining a cohesive theme and vibe. It's a testament to creativity and collaboration, definitely one of our best releases.

PREMIERE: Moisees & ZEA — Recuerdo Futuro (Mystery Affair Remix) [Bonkers Music]

Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro’s international groove compilation "Muy Duro". For this volumen the Mexican record label dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from Israeli, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU’s duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze.

The opener is "Canned Shoes" by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It’s followed by "I Unfollow", the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with "Mondo3000", a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.

Next up is "Wasen" by Moisees and ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is "Error 707" by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.

Moisees is a musician, producer, and DJ from Mexico City. His music and DJ sets showcase a combination of techno, house, and indie dance, creating a diverse and psychedelic listening experience. Over the years, he has gained a reputation for delivering DJ performances at festivals, clubs, and parties worldwide, including Lux Fragil (Lisbon), Klein Phönix (Istanbul), Sisyphos (Berlin), Kaputt (Bogotá), Topaz Deluxe (Monterrey), Casa Cobra (Guadalajara), M.N. Roy (CDMX), Funk (CDMX), EDC Mexico, among others. 

He has released music on labels such as Duro Label, Get Physical, Nothing Is Real, Roam Recording, etc. Both his music and his remixes have been well-received by specialized electronic music media such as Mixmag Mexico, Faze Magazin, Deep House Amsterdam, DJ Mag, etc. 

Moisees co-founded Duro Label with Theus Mago in 2015, an independent record label specializing in indie dance and techno music from various parts of the world. In recent years, Duro Label has become an international reference, with support from prominent artists such as Andrew Weatherall, Jennifer Cardini, Dixon, Solumun, and WhoMadeWho, to name a few. In November 2022, Duro Label was selected as 'Label of the Month' by Beatport, further solidifying its reputation as a leading independent record label in the electronic music scene.   

In 2022, Duro started “Muy Duro,” its first series of curated label nights around the world with the objective of further spreading the raw, eclectic, indie-rave sound that characterizes the label's releases. “Muy Duro” was celebrated in different cities like Mexico City, Bogotá, Madrid, Istanbul, Berlin, among others. This initiative has strengthened Duro Label's presence on the global circuit.
