Toward the end of 2019, I was backstage at Lavo in NYC where a tall stranger struck up a conversation with me. We were a part of the same group & quickly hit it off (chopping it up about music of course), soon thereafter sending eachother demos. Dennis sent me Relic before it was finished & I loved the melody, so much so I asked him for the stems/midi, eventually engineering what you're listening to right now. I never told him I was doing this, and asked him for feedback on a demo I was working on - much to his surprise he eventually figured out what I had done.  So just like Dennis, I hope you enjoy my take on his song Relic. I treated it as an exercise in composition & sound design, with a few classic ripping guitars to tie it all together.
