Huge spider appeared in my room gave me a panic attack and instantly disappeared. it literally scared me. I was working very intently on the computer, super focused, when I glanced over and saw this giant brown hairy looking spider crawling toward my hand. I literally screamed and pulled away from my desk so fast it actually shocked the spider and made it hop up and like plummet into the crack between my desk. By the time I had fumbled around and found my fly swatter, it was gone, so i just stood there looking at my desk and SOBBED and hyperventilated for like an hour, literally SWEATING and SHAKING, I even felt like I was gonna actually pass out at a certain point. Absolutely crazy reaction and im still scared and upset about it.

Last year I had a similar situation where i got in bed after a rlly long awful day at work, roleld over and saw a huge spider on the wall right in front of my face which also escaped instantly into the shadows. Yes I had a meltdown over it and ended up staying awake for 2 days straight lol. It's really scary because one actually bit me on my ankle while i was sleeping one night (at least im 99% sure it did) cuz i woke up one morning with a huge spider on the wall right beside my feet and I had a weird red spot on my ankle that DEFINITELY wasnt there the day prior. I even went to the doctor and they agreed it was a spider bite, the spot kept growing and i had to take antibiotics for it. So unfortunately these evil huge spiders actually DO want to bite me in my sleep. That doesn't help things at all.
