Sara Kišević is a versatile professional in the arts and culture sector, combining academic excellence with hands-on experience in curation, arts marketing, and event planning. Based in Switzerland, she is our Fine Art Ambassador for the Arts and Culture Network.

Sara’s academic journey began at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, where she earned a double bachelor’s degree in Art History and Comparative Literature in 2020. The arts led her to further studies at the University of Bern, where she graduated in 2023 with a master’s degree in World Literature, earning the prestigious Insigni Cum Laude distinction. Her thesis, “This or That? Here or There? Developing the Concept of Unbelonging”, explored themes of identity and belonging through the lens of literature and art.
Simultaneously, she pursued dual master’s degrees in Arts and Culture Management at the Rome Business School and Universidad Internacional de Valencia, earning top honours in 2023. These programmes equipped her with expertise in digital marketing, project management, and leadership, as well as a keen understanding of the global art market.

Sara’s professional journey began as an usher at Gavella Drama Theatre in Zagreb, where she honed her interpersonal skills while ensuring seamless event operations. In 2020, she volunteered as an expert contributor to the IIC Croatian Group, aiding in the preservation of cultural heritage following Zagreb’s earthquake. This work demonstrated her commitment to safeguarding artistic legacies. Her international exposure expanded with a role as a volunteer staff member at the Zurich Film Festival in 2022, where she deepened her understanding of cultural event logistics and audience engagement.

In 2022, Sara co-curated the Visarte Best of 2022 exhibition in Zurich, collaborating with a dynamic team to showcase exceptional artistic talent. Her success in this role solidified her passion for arts management. Sara also served as a program associate with Udruga Atanor in Croatia in 2023, where she coordinated logistics for the Gallery Challenges in Developing Audiences conference, focusing on innovative approaches to gallery operations and audience development.

Sara transitioned into editorial work with Arcadia, a Geneva-based publication, in late 2023. Over the course of a year, she meticulously reviewed and curated academic articles, ensuring precision and fostering creative collaboration. This role allowed her to merge her literary expertise with her passion for arts and culture.

In November 2024, Sara joined Galerie Adrienne Desbiolles in Zurich as a sales assistant, where she connects clients with fine art pieces while deepening her knowledge of art curation and marketing.

Sara remains dedicated to expanding her expertise in arts marketing, project management, and cultural event planning, aspiring to create meaningful experiences that celebrate creativity and create cultural dialogue. Her fluency in English, Italian, advanced Russian, and intermediate German underscores her ability to contribute to international cultural initiatives.

The fledging Gun Raven label continues to establish its own unique sound with a new single from Normen Hood. The label has picked up plenty of high-profile press and has worked with artists like Marshall White, Swim the Shine and Juli Lee while a remix by Timo Maas also proved a big hit. Next, it is Normen Hood, a real hero in his local underground scene in Switzerland, who impresses once more. His emotionally charged sounds have taken him to legendary clubs and festivals such as Hive, Bagatelle and Chat:eau and renowned labels such as Endangered, Hive Audio and Casomat.

The brilliant 'Kaleido' is an airy and uplifting melodic track with deft drums and percussion forming the hypnotic undercarriage for what is a cosmic exploration. From broad synth sweeps to pixelated pads and loopy melodic refrains, this is a bright and widescreen sound packed with great craft and emotion.

Tiglon is only one of the many monikers of the Stockholm-based remixer whose journey began in the early 2000s. From d&b to acid techno, and all things in between, he produces a wide range of sounds, but Tiglon is for anything that has a four-four beat. He flips 'Kaleido' into a darker, more driving and hard-edged percussive cut for late-night sessions where dramatic synths and turbulent bass all power on.

There are djs and producers who always try to put the focus on themselves and on everything they do, no matter how insignificant it is. 

…and then there are djs and producers like Cosimo Mele aka Mimmo, club-musicians who have built themselves a career far away from the garish spotlights, only by caring for music but non the less successful and booked from the best venues around. 

Mimmo is a impressive figure, but not as impressive as his benefits are. In 2013 he has released his first song, a track called “I Die For You” (feat. Jessy Howe), that has charted in Traxsources soulful house-charts top 20. The next release, a song called “Saturday” (feat. Roland Clark) has reached no. 4 in the same charts, even if “soulful” doesn’t fit Mimmo’s style perfectly: His today’s style is tech house. 

If you call such a flair for hits your own, you don’t have to wait for the first remix-requests too long: Michael Procter, Mucho Styles and Steven Sone are just some of Mimmo’s well known remix-clients. 

But this guy is not just a successful remixer and producer: Mimmo calls a packed booking-calendar his own, that brings him to the Ukraine (club Decadence), to Amsterdam (Club NL), to Lumina (club Blind) or to the legendary Ministry of Sound (London). Last but surely not least he is resident of the well known club Bellevue in Zurich. For the Street Parade 2015, still the biggest outdoor-electronica-event in Europe, he organises an own lovemobile, sets of guest-djs like the incredibly successful Dario D’Attis included. 

Mimmo is one of these enthusiastic clubmusicians you think to know they were always here. He never has allowed himself a longer time out and he has always headed for his goals. He always knew, that he has to be upright and consistent, if you want to stay as long in business as he does. Mimmo always was fair and he claims this fairness for himself.

…it would be nice if there were a 1’000 Mimmos more in nightlife. 

But there is only one.
