I think this is fully official start of spring/summer Thuggery Fridays cycle. Rules for this one will be kinda different - almost R&B, rarely pop or other genres, and if it is possible obviously one artist song per cycle, when my cover album will drop in the summer I give myself an opportunity to reset the cycle once (I mean making second cover of particular artist, e.g. The Weeknd Twenty Eight and his other song in reset). Schedules ain't changin' - one cover per Friday or per second Friday in sudden accidents. Two songs per Friday comin' with new project or new single for the album.

As second one and first that ain't on project I give The Weeknd's Twenty Eight. Top 3 songs from the Trilogy/House Of Balloons song for me with this classic, dark XO energy, and it got true emotions and pain to share. Hope my version will sound good for y'all, probably it is my favorite Abel's cover that I made, cause previous ones have some issues, even Shameless, that is one of my popular cover. "Hurry Up Tomorrow" is the new film from Trey Edward Shults, the filmmaker behind films such as "Krisha," "It Comes At Night" and "Waves." The film acts as a companion piece to Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye's sixth studio album of the same name, which was produced in conjunction with the film. It stars Tesfaye as a fictionalized version of himself, an insomniac musician on the verge of a mental breakdown who is pulled into an existential odyssey by a mysterious stranger, with actors Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan also starring. Shults was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about his work and experience making the film, which you can listen to below. This cover literally was last I mixed, it was long and I had to know many things where to put effects to which parts to make it sound like it would be made in original. True masterpiece by Abel, best song from After Hours obviously, with painful, full of grief and sadness content and with haunting instrumental. I think it went great, so I hope, y'all gon' love this one too.
