Madloch's Sound Avenue opens the month of March by unveiling the second remix edition for about : river's critically acclaimed '24 Years' album. Released in October of 2022, the Estonia duo's debut long player was received amidst much praise. The twelve-track opus proved to be a crowning achievement for about : river, a father and son production team who had built their reputation on borderless creations that were not only club-effective, but never failed to tell a compelling story. Now approaching a three-year creative partnership with Sound Avenue, about : river has continued to further their bond with the label across the last calendar year, remixing Jean Caillou's 'There' and Madloch & Subnode's 'Club Del Ocio'; the latter of which was an ode to the uniquely designed Argentinean club. Rounding out the year was the first installment of remixes for ‘24 Years’, a release which would see Rockka, Dunadry and Mars Monero provide their own renditions of ‘Never Forget’, ‘Frozen’ and ‘Dropped’ respectively. Now, continuing the album’s reimagination process, Sound Avenue invites Kebin Van Reeken, Pedro Sanmartin, Gaspar Aguilera & Manu Pavez and Darper to reshape selections of their choice in their own unique essence.

Tuensday The 14th & Natascha's Birthday! Upbeat Deep Progressive House Mix

The latest release on Madloch's Sound Avenue finds the label showcasing the third remix edition for about:river's ‘24 Years Apart' album. First up is Hobin Rude who continues to impress with releases via Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and The Soundgarden. With great success, the Serbian artist takes ‘Seven Cats' into his elusive world of deep beats, emotive melodies and thought provoking atmospheres. Moving forward, Hot Tuneik returns to the label following a series of releases for his Guateque Music imprint. The Mexican artist adds his magical production touch to ‘Disappeared', resulting in a peak time interpretation that finds a cohesive balance between progressive house and melodic techno. Making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Keep Awake' is Mattim. Beloved for his releases via Juicebox Music and Mango Alley, the Argentine adds a dark production touch to the track, complete with menacing synth mutations and a charged groove for those darker dancefloor moments. Rounding out the release is Noble Spirits who make their label debut on the strength of releases for Kiksuya, Nordic Voyage and their own Dialtone Records imprint. The Mexican duo brings a deep, organic sensibility to ‘Frozen', not only adding further depth to the project, but capping the release off on a subtle yet heartfelt note.

Founded in 2011 by Belgian DJ and producer https://soundcloud.com/madloch , Sound Avenue is an electronic music label that stands for quality and originality. Borderless in vision, the Belgian imprint has forged a path to multiple musical dimensions. Blurring the boundaries between house and techno, it’s a platform for anyone with an open mind and ears. Having built early momentum on a global scale, the label hosted events across Europe, North Amercia, Argentina and their home country of Belgium. These uniquely branded club nights featured some of the labels core artists (at the time) including Agustin Basulto, Beat Syndrome, Luis Junior, Matias Vila, Nicolas Rada and Sound Process. Hi, my name is Mark Selby, back in the day, around about 1990 I first went to the legendary club in my home town of Sunderland "The Blue Monkey" and straight away I was hooked to the ever growing rave scene that was taking over the country. After several years of clubbing and trekking up n down the country attending raves I decided to purchase my own set of Technics 1210's. At first I started messing about with techno until I heard an amazing set played on the Essential Mix by the one n only Paul Oakenfold, that was it, I was hooked to psytrance  buying tracks on Perfecto Flouro, Union Jack and Dragonfly etc. It wasn't long after that I was introduced to epic house music and realised this was the sound that I wanted to start playing, listening to and taking inspiration from dj's like Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman to name a few. Eventually the scene took on the name of Progressive House, this was the style of music that I played for the next 6 years before hearing UK Hard House, I started playing hard house with old friends that I used to go out raving with.
This was a fantastic time when me and my friends did various nights the Sunderland playing in local bars, our most successful night "Crackdown" was a fantastic event where we would pull in a crowd of proper die hard music fans....good times ;-)
After about 6 Years of playing hard house I started to get back into trance music again and also took the digital plunge and started using CDJ's which I found strange at first but soon got the hang of, I messed about with trance for a few years before reverting back to my true roots of progressive house, the music that I first started to play back in 96.
Around 2 years ago I started a SoundCloud account and started putting my mixes online and the rest is history!!!!
