Richard Schroder has been refining his craft as a songwriter for a decade. In that time, he’s found his voice and developed an authentic style that includes country, rock, folk and holiday music. “I’m deeply proud of the work I’ve made.”

Richard’s team includes Steve Seskin, a Nashville hit songwriter (Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney). “No one’s had a greater impact on me than Steve.” Nashville producer Matt McClure (Lee Brice, Blake Shelton) oversees Richard’s work. “There’s nothing like making music with Matt and world-class musicians.”

Schroder’s made nine albums: Drive (2017), Skyline (2019), The Stillness (2021), Allegory (2022), Storyteller (2023), Rainy Day Instrumentals (2024), Nashville Drive (2024), Nothin’ Like Christmas Eve (2024), and All Love (2025). 

He’s had songs featured on popular TV and is among the top 2% of artists on Spotify. One of his songs, “Don’t You Grow Up on Me Now,” has over 12,000 fan-created videos on TikTok / Instagram.

Richard Vallance is an independent percussive fingerstyle musician and professional guitar tutor from Leeds, England.

In 2011 he became a music student studying a performing musician course at the Access to Music centre in York. While entering his second year at the college through recommendations from his inspirational guitar tutor Tim Downie he discovered artists such as Antoine Dufour, Don Ross, Andy McKee and Erik Mongrain who provide a constant source of influence on his music.

Richard Vallance currently performs a combination of covers and original compositions at many various venues in and around the city of York and Leeds, including performances at both the 2013 and 2014 York Apollo festival. He continues to release recorded performances online and to date has received thousands of views with universally positive praise. 

In his relatively short career as a guitar tutor he has helped fellow guitarists of all ages progress with their instrument and he continually strives to share his passion for music with his students. Richard is now in the process of composing and recording his debut single and EP which will hopefully be released sometime in the near future.
