Indawo Yonke by JAMIIE, Owa Oda, and Tabia is a significant release for Sondela and our second offering of 2025. Showcasing the strength of global collaboration, this release brings together three talented female artists from Germany, Mozambique, and South Africa. Despite the physical distance, their shared vision is evident, resulting in a seamless and powerful creation.  

Tabia’s evocative vocals carry a profound message, perfectly complemented by JAMIIE and Owa Oda’s detailed production. The dreamy piano melody, played by Owa, and the hook’s plucky textures create a rhythm and atmosphere that feel both intimate and expansive.  

The title, Indawo Yonke, meaning "Universe" or "Everywhere," reflects the track’s unifying energy. Its layered melodies and soulful vocals transport listeners, capturing the essence of connection and introspection. This track highlights the beauty of collaboration, blending diverse influences into a deeply resonant piece of music.

Featuring a lineup of some of my absolute favorite artists—Aaron Sevilla, Cairo, Enzo Siffredi, Eran Hersh, Francis Mercier, Itay Israeli, Kill Them With Colour, Lohrasp Kansara, Moojo, Nico De Andrea, Sparrow & Barbosa—and more, this set delivers a perfect club vibe you won’t want to miss.

A special highlight of this mix is the inclusion of two of my own tracks: Lindela featuring Mavhungu (released December 27, 2024) and my brand new track Ceasefire featuring Alani Claire, dropping everywhere February 7, 2025. I also included Balkans De Majorca and Trumpetico by my good friend Kill Them With Colour, as well as It's Never Easy featuring Kali Mija by my brother Itay Israeli. These tracks hold a special place in my heart, and I’m thrilled to share them with you live for the first time!

Shayne Mags is a Slovak-Canadian songwriter and electronic music DJ/producer from Toronto, Canada. 

Renowned for his distinct fusion of organic instrumentation, groovy basslines, piano motifs and vibrant Afro-latin percussion, his sound is a blend of emotional depth, danceable energy, and innovation that bridges the gap between afro house and melodic techno. 

Raised in a family of creatives, he was immersed in the world of music and art, learning to paint, write music and play the piano, drums and various other instruments. His passion continued to evolve as he made a name for himself in Toronto's electronic music community. 

Shayne’s talent and versatility have led him to perform at a range of venues—from intimate boutique settings to festival stages with large audiences, both in his hometown as well as internationally. It is because of this experience that one of his strongest assets is his familiarity with diverse genres, languages, and global music trends.

With over two decades in the electronic music scene, Baron Simms has made his mark as a versatile producer and DJ. His career took off in the early 2000s when Mixmag spotlighted him as a promising new talent, featuring his track Swerve on their iconic Stick This Up Your Napster compilation.

From there, Baron sharpened his production skills, carving out a niche in the soulful, liquid side of Drum & Bass. His music quickly gained traction and was supported by influential DJs across Bassdrive, Kool FM, BBC Electro East, and Kunnin Mindz, solidifying his reputation in the DnB community.

Teaming up with his close friend Andy “Dubz” Hill, Baron launched the production duo Simztek & Dubz, expanding into House and Tech House with a series of successful releases. Together, they rocked dance floors nationwide and released tracks on renowned labels like Krafted, Onefold Digital, Sweep The Floor Records, Endemic Digital, New Politics Records, Drum Records, EME, 13 Records, and YooNek Records.

In 2024, Baron Simms is back in the studio, fusing his signature sound with Afro House, Melodic House, and Tech influences. Expect a fresh wave of original tracks and remixes as he continues to push boundaries, blending genres and elevating his unique sonic palette.
