"This one’s all about global club. It’s connecting a bunch of sounds that feel really inspiring to us currently, focusing heavily on South Asian and Middle Eastern club music, and finding through-lines between them. It’s super rhythmically charged, percussion-heavy, a little hectic, and a bit of a journey that hopefully takes you some place new while connecting the dots between old sounds and new ones. There’s a bunch of our unreleased songs in there, lots of songs from our new EP, some cheeky last-minute edits, and lots of heaters from producers we dig. Actually really proud of this mix"

DJ Graymo’s Years of Life Loved is the first offering of all his favourite sounds formed and shaped into five tracks. The project has been long in the making with precious offerings dedicated to the High Priests and Sounds of Ambidonk—a love letter to home and everyone in between.

After a decade of shaping their deeply emotive sound and becoming mainstays of Ireland's club and festival circuit with standout performances at AVA Festival, All Together Now, and Electric Picnic, Dublin-based duo Long Island Sound celebrates a pivotal milestone with their first major album, Hydra, on Seb Wildblood's esteemed label, all my thoughts. Known for their broad emotional palette and sophisticated sound design, Rob Roche and Tim Nolan have also built a reputation for their captivating DJ sets, gaining acclaim with performances in internationally renowned clubs such as London’s fabric and Berlin’s Watergate. With coverage from leading music publications like Resident Advisor, Mixmag and DJ Mag praising their work, they explore esoteric themes throughout this stunning body of work, channeling a range of powerful emotions that echo through each track.

Hydra bursts into life with “As One,” a bold opener that sets a solid, commanding tone with metallic slicing arps and swirling, dynamic textures. Next, “Anchor” lays down a clear sonic intention for the album, drawing listeners into a beautifully constructed state of flux, driven by rising chords and mounting tension that keeps you suspended in its grasp.

In “Full Effect,” the duo introduces a hypnotic, ping-ponging synth line that pans beautifully across the soundscape, with swathes of pads and sheets of noise creating a layered foundation for a delicate plucking melody and ethereal vocals. Further vocal prominence emerges in the anthemic “Terra Nova,” a piece filled with atmospheric detail where tastefully washed-out vocals evoke an arcane yet hopeful feeling.

Roche and Nolan’s carefully crafted sound shines in the cinematic interlude “Adrenaline,” where CMI-style synth vocal one-shots fizz alongside softly detuned flutters. “Warsaw” follows, standing out as an infectious, earworm-laden cut where synthesized vocals meld seamlessly with an analogue bass, and a brooding synth hook dances over rattling percussion.

“Searching” takes a turn into a shimmering synth line that cascades into layers of emotive pads, building anticipation before the distinctive vocal emerges. “Timelapse” brings a silky flange skipping over a precise kick and snare, building to a crescendo of resonant synths, vocals, and detuned effects. Tugging at deeper emotional strings, "Curved Air" maintains the album's weight with a blissful pad circling a glimmering melody.

Balancing deep emotional resonance with dancefloor energy, the vocal-led “Mira” closes out the album, delicately navigating quick shifts from melancholia to euphoria. As Hydra unfolds, it opens a deeply introspective realm filled with aqueous sound design and thoughtfully defined melodies—a true testament to Long Island Sound’s mastery of their craft.

Nadī and Otus return with Freefall, a 4-track EP that transforms turbulent emotions into defiant dancefloor optimism

The release opens with “Salt”, a fresh take on the classic Speed Garage sound “It’s the kind of track I’d want to lose myself to,” Nadī shares. Beneath its warping basslines, tight percussion, and undeniable groove lies a Bengali vocal sample, a subtle but powerful addition that reclaims space in a genre historically dominated by one voice.

“Pari” sticks with the Garage tip but swaps out the 4x4 drums for something a little steppier. Transmitting the in-your-face, aggro energy of early 2000s Grime, the bassline growls and snarls throughout the arrangement. The wavering tremolo effect of the vocal sample is one for the club lighting technicians, creating a prime strobe opportunity.

“Bombay” is a peak time bruiser. The big, tonking bassline gives a respectful doff of the bucket hat to 90s rave music. It’s overlaid with crunchy claps, feisty vocal chops, and an ominous, prangy synth that creates a menacing mood.

Title track, “Freefall” rounds out the EP, putting the breaks on and slowing things right down to chug territory. It is proper end of the night material, filled with uplifting vocals and layered synths that shine through like a hopeful ray of sunshine at the afters.The cherry on the cake has to be the master tempo grinding to a halt at the end of the track, a gentle reminder that it might be time to get some shut eye.

‘JXKE’, real name Jake Hynes is an International DJ/Producer from Cavan, Ireland. 

From a young age Jake started Dj’ing using his uncles mk3 technics in the attic of his grandmothers house in Cavan. Mixing songs from the mid 90’s and early 2000’s, beginning his passion and love for music. 

Jake’s music was influenced by his love for many different genre’s. When asked what his favourite genre of music was, he replied ‘I don’t have one’. He went on to further say ‘sometimes i like to kick back and listen to the blues, other times i listen to Hip-Hop, Rock, Reggae, i like all types of music and i try to incorporate this into my production’s. May it be Hip-Hop drum influences, rock guitar licks or the percussion of reggae, all aspects of music has unique sounds that inspire me’. 

Jake learned his craft by studying Music Production and Music Technology within Ireland and Scotland. Earning two degree’s along the way. Throughout these years Jake worked as a Live Sound Engineer in ‘The Spirit Store’, Dundalk, Ireland. Where he worked with bands such as ‘The Coronas’ and ‘The Villagers’. In 2018 he moved to Toronto, Canada to further his knowledge within the industry by working as a live sound engineer and DJ’ing for a venue called ‘The Hideout on College Street’. 

When Jake returned to Ireland he had more experience, knowledge and drive for the creation of his music. Which led him to release singles such as ‘Damhsa’, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ and ‘Good For Nothing’. These singles received huge support on social media and also gaining airtime on Ireland’s popular radio station’s ‘iRadio and Spin1038’ by DJ’s ‘Marty Guilfoyle’ and ‘Dave Duke’. 

This is only the beginning for this young producer and the future is most certainly bright.
