Garcbiz turned 10, I almost turned 30.

I feel honored to be able to come back to this magical space near the lake, celebrating another orbit around the sun. On this rainy weekend, I was blessed with some sun and able to share it with a beautiful crowd.

This weekend was one never ending flow from start to finish with the best crew and a booking that made my heart skip several beats. Haven’t danced so much in a while!

If that wasn’t already enough, playing for you Saturday into sunrise was one of the most special gigs I’ve had in my entire life. Seeing Wiese fill up so damn quickly surrounded by the most amazing humans meant the world to me and I enjoyed every second of this ride to the fullest!! 🚀

Sometimes every now and then everything is just right. It’s an unbelievable feeling that‘s hard to put into a few words as so much is coming together in this one moment in time ✨

You moved me to tears. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that played a part in this magical experience, I really needed this!

Sunrise @ Wiese // Garbicz Festival 2023

Playtime Wednesday night from 00:00 - 02:30 at the Weinbar

This set was bittersweet as Leila was unable to travel for various reasons and Garbicz is such a special place for us. It was the first festival we attended outside of South Africa, and is the place where we had so many formative music experiences and met so many friends that have shaped us as DJs and as people. 

Nevertheless, having the opportunity to play this bucketlist festival was a dream come true. What started as an eerily quiet dancefloor with just  a handful of friends supporting quickly escalated into a beautiful chaos with hundreds of people packed into the tent and spilling out into the foodcourt. This is one of my favourite atmospheres to play in, where it feels like one giant house party and the soundtrack is curated accordingly - nothing too serious, just music that makes you bounce and shake. 

Thank you to our amazing crew, who showed up from all over the world and brought the best energy all weekend. Thank you Larissa for styling the Weinbar in such a distinctive and cosy way. Thank you to Esther for making this happen. And thank you to Leila for being there in spirit. What an immense privilege it is to have these kinds of experiences.
