i trip over my feet like a child taking their first steps
i overexplain, my words fill the page
the meaning diluted beneath
but i'd learn not to water it down for you

“Good Girls (Don’t Get Used)" is the lead single from Beach Bunny’s fifth EP Blame Game described as a “sassy song that calls out players by talking down to them as if they were children, showing that poor communication skills and mind games are immature”. Johnathan Whitehorn takes a different approach musically with hard synths, loud bass, and distorted vocals creating a new electronic and hyperpop soundscape while still maintaining that fierce drive that Beach Bunny had in the orginal.

Originally formed in 2006 as teenagers, Josh and Ryan produced two original albums and performed locally until 2009. Ten years later, the two friends reunited The Loveseats in 2019 and quickly went to work crafting a new sound and direction. While difficult to place squarely in a genre, The Loveseats has been described as alt pop or soulful pop; featuring bass heavy, upbeat rhythms, jazz-like piano and synth melodies, with strong, layered vocals. From 2019 to present they have independently produced two EPs (Rough Seas and DEEP SHAKE) and a double-album (Waves & Wobbles).
