In 2021, Brodie Christ released his solo debut full-length From Squeezing, an easy and versatile soundtrack to accompany a drive, clean the house, or hang out with friends. Lyrically, the album does not pull any punches and offers a nakedly introspective and intimate affair, like hearing a dozen family members hash out the complex realities of their lives.

David McFarlane is a singer-songwriter/visual artist who hails from Toronto, Canada, and has a passion for vibey, imagistic and atmospheric songs. His new album, “Fieldwork”, features sonically rich alt-folk / alt-rock, Canadiana-infused themes.

Across the Cumberland River from Music City, the burgeoning neighborhood of East Nashville has become a haven for artists, songwriters, and other creatives. One such songwriter is Andrew Adkins, who has been a part of the Nashville community for over a decade. As the city expands and modernizes while preserving its heritage, so too does Andrew’s music.

Early in his career, Adkins co-founded two dynamic groups that served as introductions to the music business. He toured with his blues-infused power trio, Mellow Down Easy (Dualtone Records), for eight years. His gritty-rock band, Lions for Real, made waves within the music industry before catching the attention of Werewolf Heart Records, the indie label fronted by actor Ryan Gosling. The band imploded almost as quickly as it surfaced, leaving Adkins uncertain of his musical future.

After years of collaborating in bands, Andrew decided to step away and develop his own distinct sound -- a unique blend of roots-influenced, neo-psychedelic rock. Since 2013, he has released several critically acclaimed solo albums. His songs have been featured in television and film (CBS, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Paramount +, History, MTV, Oxygen, and Lionsgate Films). Andrew has shared the stage with artists including Sturgill Simpson, Cage the Elephant, Little Big Town, A Thousand Horses, Dum Dum Girls, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Billy Joe Shaver, and Wayne "The Train" Hancock among others.

The Colored Parade is the musical brainchild of Nashville, TN-based songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Adkins. Mixing tapestries of sounds, atmospheric textures with lush vocal ambiance and a wide array of musical styles, flavors and elements all add up to create this fresh, new sound and vision called The Colored Parade. "I basically locked myself up in my studio with a few guitars, synths, keys, an assortment of percussion, an 808, a banjo, a sampler and a mandolin and this is what happened!" says Adkins. "I wanted to make an album with lots of shades, emotions, colors and moods constantly moving and shifting. That is where the name 'Colored Parade' came from." The songs from The Colored Parade's debut release, "...And The Walls Of The City Will Shake" blends and uniquely combines rootsy overtones with currents of electronic-synth, obscure samples, wailing undertones of pedal steel guitar, a barrage of horns with cascades of vocal harmonies.
