The Void is an anecdotal alt-punk song about navigating mental health. Our music touches a lot on the mental health topic, and this song gets right to the point - no strong metaphors or beating around the bush. It very bluntly talks about depression, anxiety and vices, which we think is really important.

Equal parts roast, manifesto, and existential bark spiral, this alt-punk-trap anthem channels lo-fi distortion, layered barks, reversed toy squeaks, and deep canine wisdom into a chantable breakdown of your emotional instability and snack inconsistencies. Built to loop. Built to bark. Built to make you question who’s really holding the leash.

Blending alt-punk, techno, and hip hop, the track explores the 'game' of human existence. The lyrics juxtapose our chaotic concepts of Love, Hate, and War against the alien's preferred state of absolute nothingness. A chaotic, high-energy track about the confusion of being alive.

This track recounts a close encounter of the philosophical kind. When an alien visitor dismisses our heaviest concepts as meaningless, we're left explaining that being human is just a game we play in a world we made. "Philosophies of an Alien" is a rhythmic critique of fear and greed, delivered with a sneer and a heavy bassline.

Formed in 1989 as various other names until we settled on Conduit in the early 1990's. Started jamming in a chicken coop, recorded music on a 4-track reel-to-reel, evolved to digital technology, Cakewalk, Acid Loops, etc... in the 1990-2000's.

Writer and producer based in Atlanta making country, electronic, folk, hardcore, and anything else I can get away with. Think less “genre-bending visionary,” more “attention span with a studio.”
