“Burner” is a nostalgic pop-afro track that blends soulful melancholy with infectious rhythm. It tells the story of someone caught between loneliness and the desire for connection, hesitant to love yet drawn to someone patient enough to stay. Entirely self-produced by Sxmsidy, Burner showcases his ability to fuse emotional depth with dynamic production, creating a sound that feels both intimate and rhythmically alive.

Wadam Wadam Wadam. Salutations kinfolk. I took an abstract approach putting this one together. With a fresco of Prog Rock, Blues, Indie, Alt R&B and many other sub-genres, each track tells a story. Bright moments are peppered between the shadows, offering glimmers of hope, which is often how the path unfolds for the subject at hand.

This Passage tells the story of pariahs, outcasts, and the dregs of society who are left with no other choice than to forge their own path. Either by forceful exile or circumstances far beyond their control. Represented only by a small percentage of the human species, consider yourself lucky, and blessed, if you do not have to suffer as they have, and presently do. A lonely road leads to revelation and communal veneration in the end, but most don’t make it through the treacherous terrain to see it manifest.

There are those who deal with overt or underlying issues, and classified as “other” by society’s condemnation…leaving them forever marked with the scarlet stain of rejection. This, is for them.

So, in conclusion, the next time you see someone who appears to be talking to themselves, do not be alarmed. They just may be in conversation with the divine.
