Transmission Lost is the pseudonym of American alternative artist Garret Ashton, a prolific singer-songwriter/guitarist based in Houston, Texas. He takes elements of his rock, punk, grunge, blues, hip-hop, and electronic music roots and combines them to tell the stories about fate, hope, love, death, search for meaning, and the spaces in between. 

Originally from the small town of Fruitland, Idaho, he grew up playing guitar with his two cousins and was surrounded by peaceful views of the countryside. They were big fans of grunge, especially Stone Temple Pilots. At first, he was drawn to play covers. By the age of 17, he made the decision to make his own stuff. Fascinated by guitar, he felt he was good at piecing together chord progressions while writing songs. 

By the time he moved to Texas, he had plenty of songs so his next step was founding his own project, Transmission Lost. His biggest influences stemmed from Linkin Park, RHCP, Yellowcard, Alice in Chains, Foo Fighters, Awolnation, 21 Pilots, Nothing But Thieves, Queen.

In 2021, we have eyes on his debut single “One Way or Another” coming in August and promising to his listeners a range of colorful emotions, a journey into one of the stories of his relationships, real or made-up…

Transmission Lost stands out with vibrant vocals, cinematic vibes, elaborate lyrics, and huge anthemic hooks. In the past years, Garret has opened for Lupe Fiasco with the band Ella Ferrari at the Taco Bell Arena.

Freddy Echiverri is a San Antonio-based musician whose work reflects a rich tapestry of influences and personal experiences. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, and raised in Paris, Freddy’s early musical journey began with the piano, eventually gravitating towards the electric guitar, inspired by legends like Eddie Van Halen and B.B. King.  ￼

His discography includes the album “Mr. Moon” (2016), featuring tracks like “I Am You and You Are Me” and “Leave My Coffee Alone,” as well as singles such as “Be My Girl” (2022) and “State of Confusion” (2022).  ￼

Freddy’s music is characterized by its alternative rock sound, with songs like “Lost Cause” and “Empty” delving into themes of personal struggle and introspection.  ￼ ￼

He describes his creative process as a means to release stress, aiming to craft songs that resonate with listeners through their diverse influences.  ￼

Freddy’s commitment to authenticity and his distinctive sound have garnered him a dedicated following, as he continues to explore new musical landscapes.
