At the cusp of sixty, as grandmother to two teenagers, I discovered that creativity has no expiration date!

Recently, I embarked on a brand new digital music creation journey using GarageBand. Little did I know that it would change my life. It wasn’t long before I discovered the endless possibilities that samples and loops offer for complex sonic landscapes. 

How Granny Got Her Groove Back was born.

Music has been a constant companion throughout my lifetime, serving as both inspiration and refuge. Decades of musical foundation—from high school band and choir participation to professional years as a dancer and performer, and years of playing piano—have made rhythm and melody integral to my artistic expression… and life in general.

Embracing experimentation across diverse musical styles, and exploring the intersection of classical musical training and modern digital artistry, I seek to create pieces that speak to both nostalgia and innovation.

Each composition represents a new adventure in sound design and musical storytelling. My work reflects the perspective of someone who understands that artistic expression grows richer with life experience, combining traditional musical knowledge with contemporary production techniques.
