The theme song to the game, Thanatos, for 8-bit computers such as the ZX Spectrum and the Amstrad CPC. There's also a version for the C64 that was arranged by the one and only Rob Hubbard.
I based my cover off of the Amstrad CPC version, the deeper notes gave it a more somber and melancholic feel to it. I also wanted to give this a bit of a JRPG feel to it, something you'd expect to hear on the PC-88.

Drums takes advantage the custom rom samples built-in the Play2CPC Cartridge. The wahwah guitar is pure OPN synth. I spent months working on this. The saturated bass is made with the PSG and tight control of the enveloppe with furnace's effects 20xx 22xx, 23xx and 24xx.

This is an ingame music, so I wanted to keep 1 or 2 free PSG channels for the SFX.

SEGA has made some of my favourites arcade games in the 80' 
I was amazed with the crazy hardware they packed on their boards to keep the lead.
The original Acarde game actualy uses an YM2203 with a custom PCM chip.
