The life of Amy Winehouse inspired me to write this song. Broke Me is a love letter to the ones who couldn’t stay, and the artists who turned that pain into poetry. Set against the backdrop of smoky jazz clubs and bruised hearts, this bluesy swing track weaves sorrow with seduction — and honours the legacy of voices that lived too fast, loved too hard, and left us too soon

I was inspired to craft another mixtape similar to what I played at the Rabbit Hole last year. No time limits on this recording as it is purely for the love. It started as a collection of the recent tunes I've been loving but quickly weaved itself into a love letter, a back and forth between the feminine and masculine.
