This is my Gen X, mid-life crisis, electronic ambient record, made primarily with analog synthesizers, drum machines, many guitar pedals (mostly EHX), and plugins. Very much inspired and influenced by Boards of Canada, Suzanne Ciani, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin, and Fans of Collision.

In this I was mostly using Air Loom II, Surge, and Ultra Analog VA-3 for the sounds, combining everything around simple layered 2-layer (2x2 fm oscillators) arpeggio repeating through the entire piece...

14. How much Time

Commissioned project I've been working on for a client.

Hakuna Kulala is Swahili for “No sleeping!” and is a call to stay awake, move, and party all night. This track pushes House into new territory, fusing psytrance kicks with amapiano log drum patterns, deep tribal percussion, and analog‑processed piano chords. Heavy sub‑bass drives the groove while swirling psychedelic breakdowns create a ritualistic, futuristic atmosphere.

It’s progressive house at heart, but colored with influences from amapiano, deep techno, and trance, designed to feel as much like a ceremony as a dancefloor cut. Inspired by the idea of tradition colliding with technology, Hakuna Kulala is both nostalgic and forward‑looking: ancestral rhythm reimagined through modern synthesis.

Lazriel Fontaine is a London-based composer and avant-garde sound designer whose music drifts between cinematic orchestration and experimental electronics. Born in Hannover, Germany, while his father was stationed abroad, Lazriel spent much of his later life moving across the world — a journey that shaped the diverse textures and emotional range of his work.
His compositions draw inspiration from artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Two Steps from Hell, Dexter Britain, and the nostalgic pulse of 80s synthwave, blending them into pieces that are both hauntingly intimate and grandly expansive.
Fontaine’s music often explores the tension between structure and improvisation, weaving together influences from classical minimalism, film scoring, and modern sound design. Each piece feels like a landscape — shifting, atmospheric, and deeply tied to memory and movement.
Though eclectic in style, his work remains united by a search for resonance: music that lingers, unsettles, and uplifts.

Started making music with 8bit and PC computers in 80s & 90s inspired by the time C64 and Amiga music and demo scene composers. Composers and artist who have mostly inspired me during the years include people like Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Klaus Schulze etc. In addition to ambient and synth music, my life at early stages at home was affected by 50s and 60s instrumental rock i.e. in Finnish "rautalankamusiikki" and Finnish rock and pop from 70s and 80s.    

Now-a-days I am trying to play guitar, bass and synths, and singing...from other instruments, flutes and pipes are close to my heart too.
