I’m struggling to know where to start with what I’m trying to say, but I guess what I would like to express is that this is song and its world were a labour of love by not only me, but also SOOOO many special people. 
I’ll explain everything more in depth through “the void”, but I’d love to take a moment and express my gratitude for my team of angels that have helped me make all of this happen! This song was born in my London bedroom studio, a few days before my birthday this year. I felt deeply lonely - rejected by the world - raw and my nervous system was the most turbulent it has been in a long time. I remember crying so much, that I could taste the salt of my tears and my whole body felt numb. 
But working with these amazing people to expand the song and its universe that I have started in such a raw state, flipped a switch within me! Their warmth and sensibility helped me meet my feelings in such a different way, and I remember laughing so much throughout the whole process <3<3<3🥹 
We found a language for this experience in music and movement, and all of our different perspectives and essences melted into the beautiful world that you’ve been witnessing - misty grieving machines, urgent questions gleaming in the dark, dancing in overexposed lighting at a windy beach late at night: all symptoms of the loss of a world that used to mean everything.

“Upside Down” is an instrumental journey into a shadowy, nostalgic world where the air hums with electricity and every echo feels like a warning. Inspired after rewatching Stranger Things and getting pulled back into its eerie 80s atmosphere, I set out to capture that same blend of tension, wonder, and vintage synth magic, without recreating anything directly from the show.

Built on brooding analog pads and a steady, pulse-like bass, the track moves with slow, hypnotic intention, like wandering down an empty street long after midnight. Shimmering arpeggios drift in and out like distant signals breaking through static, adding momentum without ever breaking the spell.

Instead of big drops or dramatic shifts, the intensity rises through layers: more texture, more pressure, more mystery, drawing you deeper with each passing moment.

This is a piece meant to make you imagine, explore, and slip for a few minutes into an alternate world, one where the familiar feels eerie and the unknown feels close enough to touch.
