“We Know Nothing” is a haunting, melancholic, and hypnotic piece of melodic techno that's carved out with analog synthesizers, deep pulsing basslines, emotional live vocals, and a sense of mystery that echoes through every bar. As wajnlikewine, I create everything myself, from the synth layers to the drum programming, from the voice to the atmosphere. This track is my personal expression of cosmic humility.

Why do governments hide the past? What are they afraid we’ll find? It's really interesting to learn about and this is how I feel. It's born out of that curiosity and frustration. It’s not an answer but a question.
It’s the sound of standing before the void and realizing that:
WE KNOW NOTHING.

There’s beauty in not knowing. It's okay to not know something.
There’s freedom in letting go of certainty.

Marcus Palt is a versatile musician and sound designer known for his dark, evocative, and experimental electronic music.
A multi-instrumentalist with a deep-rooted passion for analog synthesizers, Palt has been crafting immersive soundscapes for decades. Influenced by the pioneers of Detroit and Berlin techno, and with a background in progressive rock, he brings a unique blend of organic and electronic elements to his work. His compositions range from ambient to dark ambient, characterized by rich textures and a profound exploration of sound.
Having collaborated with international filmmakers on numerous soundtracks, Palt remains a mysterious figure in the electronic music scene, preferring to let his music speak for itself.

A pioneer in the exploration of early modular synthesizers in the 90s, Marcus Palt has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic sound. His passion for sound design has led him to transform everyday sounds into unique musical elements, creating soundscapes that span from progressive rock to experimental techno. 
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Terry Riley, and John Cage, his music reflects a deep appreciation for sonic experimentation and a constant search for new sonic territories. 

Each of his compositions is an invitation to immerse oneself in an ever-evolving sonic universe, where past and future intertwine.
