Welcome to Part Two of our "Decades in Music" series with special guest, Amelia! Last week we delved into the 70's & 80's but we blathered just a little too much so we had to invite Amelia back for a second week so we have time for the 90's, 00's and 10's. She was a good sport and said yes so here we are! Make sure you listen to last week's episode first otherwise you'll be completely lost and won't be able to laugh at us. Katie and Edward are concerned that Jenn has possibly done double-drugs this week but she swears that she has not. Luke gives us his Record Store Day report and describes his new yacht that we're all going to enjoy this summer. He also has a hollow Taylor Swift candle. Jenn decides to ask our guest about one of her favorite toys or accessories called the merkin, we discuss our new plan for getting hot celebrities on the show, Katie asks about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which Amelia is an expert in, Luke gets grossed out because of bones coming out of place and Edward talks about his sexual conquests before he met Katie.

Next, we continue on from last week's episode starting with the 1990's and our most influential artists. Edward has more electronic music, Luke has more punk music, Jenn has more greasy guy music, Katie has more Katie music and Amelia continues to have excellent taste. Edward is mad at the 1990's because of grunge music ruining his synth-rock, Luke really benefited from reading magazines on the shitter and decides to get a head-merkin, the puzzle broads make an appearance and Katie is going to a big show with Edward Jr! I've loved music ever since I can remember. I have played numerous musical instruments since I was a kid, the violin being the instrument I was best at and played to a decent level and attended the Royal College of Music at the age of 10.

I've been making music since the days of Mod music / Tracker music on the legendary Atari ST and the Commodore Amiga. The days when CPU resources were minuscule but you could still whack out a decent tune. It was a great time for music lovers and future music producers, DJ's and artists.

As for my taste in music, I'm a huge fan of LO-FI, Vaporwave, 80s, house, R&B, soul and funk but enjoy and appreciate almost all genres, although there are a handful I hate too!

As for my music, my aspergers/autism insists on quite a bit of melodic repetition as you may or may not notice and also a good mix of genres.

Vocals and backing harmonies are self-recorded, followed by enhancement using AI voice models to change my voice, compensate for natural imperfections and improve vocal output. In other words, I don't like my own voice but I can do vibrato and hold a tune 😁. Autotune is applied, open source post-processing tools are then used, prior to the mastering stage. Artwork is AI because Photoshop takes too long, sowwy :)
