When I composed "Whispers of the Thunderforge," I wanted to create a piece that would transport the listener into a mythological world where Norse legends come to life. I used powerful percussion and an anthemic rhythm to evoke the image of cosmic forges, where Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, and Stormbreaker are shaped under divine strikes. I introduced a female voice singing a Nordic chant with subtle tribal or even Balkan accents, adding a mystical and ancestral layer that reflects the roots and untamed power of nature.

Through this piece, I wanted to create a visceral experience for listeners—making them feel the pulse of the rhythm in their chest as if they were witnessing the birth of a new universe. I hoped the music would inspire a sense of respect and admiration for the ancient and mysterious forces that have shaped the cosmos and awaken in listeners a deep connection with the mythological past and primordial energies.

MAKER

“Animatio,” Latin for ‘animation’ or ‘bringing to life,’ celebrates movement and creativity. This track embodies the essence of Amethyst’s artistic process, bringing ideas to life through vibrant energy and dynamic expression. It’s a tribute to the vitality that fuels her work. The song starts with “I’m about to pitch a script, picture this, it’s the audacity for me, she do or she will her hand in the till. it’s whatever she wants whenever she wants, that’s way love goes. Call me Janet Jackson, hit my 30s, I’m about to smack some.” Janet was in her 30s when she made Velvet Rope, which to Amethyst is a career pinnacle. Starting her music career in her 30s, Amethyst draws inspiration from this, noting that many top artists peaked in their 30s. In the hook she says, “beat beat beat, said you got beef beef beef, but you must be all on your own.” This addresses people having issues with her focus on her career. It’s also a reference to “beat” in script writing, listing the 3 verses as acts I, II, and III, with exposition. She says, “we do it for the missing, murdered Indigenous women and children, that’s awareness so spare us your tongue-in-cheek commentary. Heart berry strawberry, I just be saying native sh*t like it smells like rain or I’m about to overcome this pain.” The cleverness of this wordplay, combined with cultural and social commentary, makes “Animatio” a powerful and multidimensional track.

Nibriell is the pseudonym under which I sign my musical and literary works. I was born in Romania, a beautiful country in Eastern Europe, but I also live in the UK. For personal reasons and symbolism, the pseudonym is inspired by the names Saint Nicholas (Ni) and Archangel Gabriel (briell). 

     As for my musical activity, I do not define myself through traditional terms such as artist, musician, or composer, but rather as a music creator. This term is much more suitable for my musical activity. I have only one regret: not being born with the talent to sing or possess a musical voice. 

     However, my passions for music and literature have been cultivated with interest throughout my life. With the advent of AI in our lives, it has been very successful in producing high-quality vocalizations, which instantly encouraged me to start creating melodies. 

     Therefore, in my creative workshop, DAW software, music editing, and AI technology are the tools through which I express my vision. By using AI to generate the distinctive voice of my pieces and recreate the sounds specific to traditional or archaic instruments, I bring to life the stories I present to you. 

     My entire creation, from one end to the other, tries to tell a story, whatever it may be. From myths and legends worldwide to stories I create, they are dressed in melodies and harmonies that exceed language and culture, touching a universal chord of human emotion. With each composition, my goal is to open a window to imaginary worlds, inviting the listener to explore ancestral myths, personal narratives, or those already existing worldwide. 

     Using a mix of modern sounds and traditional elements, I aim to create a bridge between the past and the present, between the real and the fantastic, offering the listener an auditory experience and an emotional and spiritual journey.

     So, Nibriell is the pseudonym that unites all these creative sides and expresses the desire to create and the belief that art, in all its forms, is a vehicle for understanding, compassion, and connection among people, regardless of their origins or borders. This is the path I have chosen to follow, one in which every note and word contributes to creating a more extensive work of all humanity, an ode to the beauty and complexity of life.

     Although AI plays an essential and decisive role in my work, it does not define its direction or quality at all. I entirely write the texts and melodic lines, and the voice generated by it is the product of my strict vision and supervision.
