To mark the club's 6th Anniversary, Tbilisi club KHIDI announces a series of three VA EPs with tracks from its residents and artists closely affiliated with the club. The series will be released over the course of summer and autumn on its KHIDI label The first EP will be released on 26th of July with tracks from James Ruskin, Tensal, Phase Fatale & Reka, and Yanamaste. 

The second EP is out in September and consists of three track collaborations between the club res idents; Ancient Methods & OTHR; Unhuman & Vulkanski; Roman & Boyd Schidt; the last track of the EP is from the club's close friend Silent Servant. 

The final EP will be released in October with tracks from Matrixxman vs Espen Lauritzen, Inigo Kennedy, Deano and clubs resident Christoph Faust.

Ancient Methods & OTHR - Vast Vanishing [KHIDI]

Ancient Methods was born from the union of Conrad Protzmann and Michael Wollenhaupt, two Germans dedicated to produce techno without any kind of complexes who also sign their solo works as Baeks and Trias. Eventually, and after the departure of Wollenhaupt, Protzmann decides to stay with the solo project.

His career, based on the release of several EPs, most of them on his own label of the same name, begins to atomize with collaborations on other publishing platforms such as Sonic Groove, RSB, Fondation Sonore, aufnahme + wiedergabe or Hands Productions.

A post-industrial vortex pulled us in, where deep mechanical grooves met tight rhythmic control in a set that was both punishing and hypnotic. The pacing was expertly crafted, grinding tension, explosive peaks, and moments of eerie restraint, all delivered with a raw, analog-driven energy that kept the floor locked in. Jxn Cøco brings a forlorn beauty to the dark, often merging powerful basslines with melancholic melodies. There is a romantic sadness attached to his electrifying soundscapes, laced with psychedelic synths driven by grinding drum machines. Resident DJ for Mønster Queen, London's fast-rising and ever inspiring Dark Queer Underground club night, Cøco plays within the otherworldly waves of ritualistic Acid Wave, EBM, Dark Trance and Body Techno.

He has also supported London staples including Torture Garden, Kaos, Wraith, HE.SHE.THEY and Slimelight, and played at legendary venues within the city such as Electrowerkz, Fabric, The Garage, Ministry of Sound and beyond.

"The Techno Wave" was the first single released in 1990 by this famous project created by Jens Lissat and Ramon Zenker (Hardfloor). One of the most well-known tracks of the so called Frankfurt Tekkno scene that invaded Germany during the early 90s. This re-issue includes the original “Castle Mix", the b-side “The Bass is on Fire” and a new killer remix prepared by Ancient Methods who described “The Techno Wave" as "one of the influential tracks that brought me alongside Zoth Ommog and R&S into techno".
