Let there be Light!

My second time using the Cymek implant…I found myself in an environment that felt strangely familiar. I quickly realized that I am on top of a large hill overlooking a valley, the same as I am familiar with in my awakened life. But clearly this was not the same world or time that I live in; no people or streets or anything resembling human life. I began looking around and noticed a stone structure off in the distance. As I walked towards the structure, I observed that the structure is constructed from enormous, perfectly cut, rectangular stones with an obvious doorway. I entered the doorway and it opened up into a large recessed room in which there were four hooded figures surrounding a stone table. I moved closer and rotated around the room so I could get a better look at the table. There was a body lying on top of the table and two of the hooded figures seemed to be conducting some sort of test or operation on the body. As I looked harder I noticed that the figure on the table was not human, but rather some sort of hybrid of a living organism with robotics inside. Suddenly, the two figures who were not operating on the subject quickly turned to me at which point I observed that they are also not human, but rather some other creature that I had never seen before. The stare in their eyes was so intense that I froze, and immediately I felt myself being unwillingly pulled toward them at a fast rate. Right as I was approaching the table I woke up and the experience with the implant had ended.

The device is early 21st century and seems to be compatible with the data storage unit we found in an earlier leg of the expedition when we were in the abandoned south half of the eastern mega city.
