Character designer and animator studied in CalArts and spent a major time of his career working with Disney Animation Studios, creating the likes of Mushu for Mulan and Iago for Aladdin.

But all these years later, he started his own animation studio Pencilish Animation Studios, the first-ever crowd-invested animation company, which he states can go head to head as an indie studio with the "Big Guns."

However BBC Radio Wales still insisted it was worth a live interview...

The videos caught the attention of local BBC radio & Tim had a request for an interview. In fact, the interview was seemingly rescheduled, when Tim suddenly recieved a call "Can you talk on BBC Radio Berkshire? We're hoping to have you on after the song we're playing now...!!"

THIS WEEK'S SHOW: We get real and very unreal!

Billy 5000 is a teenager stuck in gig economy doldrums, delivering food and in need of fast, big money and with a plan for getting it. That doesn't begin to describe BOYS GO TO JUPITER, a quirky, absurdist animated journey that blends bright candy-colored visuals with themes of loneliness, connection and the strangeness of modern life. Writer/ director Julian Glander (ADULT SWIM) tells us all about his surreal, colorful and utterly unpredictable debut feature.

In THE PAPER BAG PLAN, a high functioning alcoholic and father facing terminal illness scrambles to find employment for his disabled son in hopes of helping him gain independence in his life ahead. We first discussed the film back in February of 2025, and it's now it's left the film festival circuit and getting a wider release, so, joining us for a fresh chat is its writer/ director, Anthony Lucero.
