Motionless Movements

A small arpeggio improvisation recorded with my portable, light Eurorack system.

This is a direct recording made with the Disting Mk4, with no post-processing. I hope the audio quality is acceptable. I composed this piece to share with my 5-year-old daughter. :)

Patch Notes:

The Metropolix sequences two voices.
The Klavis Twin Waves is filtered by the Raging Bull. Delay is provided by the Mimeophon.
The Piston Honda is filtered by the C4RBN, and its sound is processed by the Ruina Versio.
Envelopes are generated by the Zadar.
The Maestro acts as the master clock and modulates the Raging Bull.
The Chaos module modulates the Piston Honda and the Viol Ruina (unclocked modulations).
Reverb comes from the FX Aid (Clouds algorithm).

I needed to do at least one idea with a classic acoustic guitar, which is now done. Both guitar tracks are the same acoustic guitar, treated a bit differently. I started with arpeggio as I'm learning to do these with my guitar teacher, so it's good exercise. I wanted to add some strings/synth in the background but dont have much more energy for today, so maybe if  I try to develop it one day.

Exploring Chaos with a small Minor7 improvisation recorded with my portable, couch Eurorack system (RackBrute 6U).

This is a direct recording made with the Disting Mk4, with no post-processing. I hope the audio quality is acceptable.

Patch Notes:

The Metropolix sequences two separate voices from the Klavis Twin Waves (Saw+Sub and Supersaw).
The first voice is filtered through the Raging Bull, with delay provided by the Mimeophon.
The second voice (supersaw) is filtered by the C4rbn.
A drone comes from the 4MS Ensemble Oscillator, processed by the Melotus Versio.
Envelopes are generated by the Zadar.
The Clank Chaos modulates everything.
Reverb is provided by the FX Aid (Dual Shimmer).

Sonika is an experiment in creating interesting drum, percussion & synth arpeggios with lush soundscapes & textures within a Dance/EDM structure. Originally included with the 2019 release of Now Boarding, it has been reimagined, remixed and remastered for 2025 at Key Haven Studios using Macs running Reason Studios 13 and lots of VSTs from UVI, Arturia, Native Instruments, IK Multimedia, Toontrack and more.
